A toilet seat includes a body, a bottom plate, and a joining member. The body includes a seating part and a side wall part. The side wall part extends from each of an inner end and an outer end of the seating part. The bottom plate includes a bottom plate part and a protrusion part. The bottom plate part and the seating part face each other. The protrusion part protrudes laterally from the bottom plate part and is configured to be pressed by an end of the side wall part. The joining member joins the body and the bottom plate. The joining member is formed of a filling material poured to closely contact a side surface of the bottom plate part and a non-pressing surface other than a surface pressing the protrusion part on the end of the side wall part.

ROTATIONALLY MOLDED LIGATURE RESISTANT TOILET

A ligature resistant toilet includes a frame that surrounds a bowl assembly. The frame may be made by rotational molding to create a seamless, one-piece component. The frame includes a front surface, a left surface, and a right surface that are all connected to a top surface by a rounded transition surface. A seat assembly is defined on the top surface of the frame and includes a seat that defines a bowl opening. The frame supports a bowl assembly that is positioned within a hollow interior of the frame. The bowl assembly includes a bowl and a spray ring supported by a top surface of the bowl. Piping may be attached to a trapway of the bowl assembly and extend exterior to the frame to an exterior plumbing system.

A formation device melts a plastic material and places the melted plastic material into a mold. The mold has an upper case, a lower case and a cavity, and a blowing aperture is disposed at a conjunction area of the upper and lower cases and extending to the cavity. The formation device utilizes a blowing tube to connect to the blowing aperture to reach into the plastic material in the cavity. During a blow molding process, the formation device inflates the plastic material through the blowing tube such that the plastic material expands to conform with a shape of the cavity, and when the mold is opened, a hollow casing member is obtained. The casing member further comprises a framed base, and two opposite sides of the base respectively connected to a top board and a bottom board via a connecting lip.

A mounting assembly for mounting a seat to a toilet having a base with a pair of mounting holes includes a base member, a first member and a second member. The first member is for insertion into a first of the pair of mounting holes. The first member interconnected to the base member. The second member is for insertion into a second of the pair of mounting holes. The second member is interconnected to the base member and spaced apart from the first member by a horizontal distance. At least one of the first and second members is operative for clamping the mounting assembly to the toilet in a vertical direction.

HEATING DEVICES

In one example, a toilet seat assembly includes a toilet seat, a thin film heater adhered to a top surface of the toilet seat, and a coating of injected molded material on a surface of the thin film heater. In another example, a toilet seat assembly includes a toilet seat frame, and an electrically conductive polymer heater supported by the toilet seat frame, wherein the electrically conductive polymer heater includes carbon fiber and polypropylene.
