Methods and apparatus for acquiring data associated with a monitored analyte level, determining a glucose level based at least in part on the acquired data associated with the monitored analyte level, manipulating a data set based on a processing mode following the glucose level determination, where the processing mode includes one of a data set transmission and output display, a data set storing and output display without transmission, or a data set transmission and data set storing without output display are provided.

Medication delivery device with mechanical locking system

A medication delivery device having a lock element. The device is connectable to an electrical plug of a conduit. The device includes an external housing with an opening that ports to a plug receiving hollow within an interior volume. An electrical circuit connected to at least one of a rechargeable battery and a memory controller includes a connection element within the plug receiving hollow. The lock element travels within the plug receiving hollow when a dose delivery assembly of the device operates for forcing medication from the device. The lock element is sized and positioned to have its travel halted by abutment with the plug, when the plug is within the plug receiving hollow and electrically interfacing with the connection element, to thereby halt the dose delivery assembly from further operating for forcing medication from the device.

The present invention relates to a system for obtaining medicament related information of specific medicaments, the in system comprising a device (10, 50) for obtaining medicament related information, the device comprising a recording unit, said recording unit comprising a reader (20, 32; 86, 88, 92, 122), capable of reading information pertained to specific medicaments, said recording unit further comprising a memory module (22, 104) capable of storing information read by said reader (20, 32; 86, 88, 92, 122), wherein said reader (20, 32; 86, 88, 92, 122) is arranged with a three-dimensional contact interface (81) designed to interact with a corresponding contact surface (87) containing information related to specific medicaments.

FLUID DELIVERY ADJUSTMENTS BASED ON PREDICTED PHYSIOLOGICAL CONDITIONS

Techniques disclosed herein relate to operating a fluid delivery device in a personalized manner based at least in part on historical data of a patient. In some embodiments, the techniques involve determining a predicted physiological condition of a patient in response to a future activity of the patient, based at least in part on historical data corresponding to the future activity for the patient; determining, based at least in part on the predicted physiological condition of the patient, an adjustment to fluid delivery to the patient by a medical device to prospectively account for the future activity; and operating the medical device to deliver a fluid to the patient in accordance with the adjustment.

Wound therapy tubeset system for wound volume estimation
11744931 · 2023-09-05 · ·

A tubeset module includes one or more elements of a negative pressure wound therapy (“NPWT”) system, such as a valve, a calibrated leak, a pressure sensor, etc. The tubeset module may communicate with a controller of the NPWT system via a communications interface provided by the tubeset module. The communication between the tubeset module and the controller may be used to fully automate one or more processes involving the operation of the components of the NPWT system included in the tubeset module, allowing the NPWT system to, e.g. estimate a wound site volume, estimate a volume of fluid to be instilled, monitor wound healing progression, etc. without requiring any user interaction or involvement. The tubeset module may be defined by one or more housing elements. The tubeset module may be incorporated into any of the tubing, fluid canister, wound dressing and/or therapy device housing components of the NPWT system.

METHOD, SYSTEM AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM FOR PREDICTIVE HYPOGLYCEMIA DETECTION FOR MILD TO MODERATE EXERCISE

A system for generating a hypoglycemia risk signal associated with exercise-induced Hypoglycemia. The system can include a processor configured to obtain a blood glucose signal (BG.sub.start), a ratio of absolute insulin on board over total daily insulin signal (IOB.sub.abs/TDI), and an initial glycemic slope signal (S.sub.0); generate a hypoglycemia risk signal based on a hypoglycemia prediction algorithm that determines the probability of a user being hypoglycemic during or after exercise based on the obtained BG.sub.start, IOB.sub.abs/TDI and S.sub.0.
