VENTRICULAR GEOMETRIC AND HEMODYNAMIC CONTROL BY HEART RATE MODULATION IN LVAD THERAPY
20210228790 · 2021-07-29 ·

A method of operating an implantable blood pump and a pacing device, the method includes determining an end diastolic volume (EDV) and ejection fraction of one from the group consisting of the right ventricle and the left ventricle at a predetermined pump set speed. An average flow rate based on the predetermined pump set speed is determined. A target heart rate based at least in part on the determined EDV, ejection fraction, and average flow rate is determined. A lower rate for the pacing device is determined, the pacing device being in electrical communication with a chamber of the heart. The chamber of the heart is paced when a measured heart rate drops below the lower rate.

The on-demand dialysis machine is configured to: receive, from the prescription recommendation server, the individualized dialysis prescription for the new patient; and perform a dialysis treatment on the new patient based on the individualized dialysis prescription.

VENTILATOR INFORMATION DISPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS, VENTILATOR, AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM

A ventilator information display method and apparatus, a ventilator, and a computer storage medium are provided. The method includes: receiving a patient type; and outputting, according to the received patient type and pre-stored correspondences between patient types and display information, corresponding display information. That is, according to the received patient type, corresponding display information can be obtained; namely, for patients of different types, different ventilator information can be displayed. Because each patient type has its own unique physiological characteristics, the strategies for ventilator information for different patient types are also different. In this way, the method can meet actual needs and can improve the work efficiency of medical staff.

Infusion Pump Method and Systems

An infusion pump system is disclosed. The system includes at least one infusion pump, a companion device, the companion device in wireless communication with the infusion pump, and a user interface on the companion device, the user interface adapted to receive textual input.

Insulin delivery methods, systems and devices

A method of insulin delivery, the method may include obtaining one or more blood glucose readings of a user, and, based on the blood glucose readings, generating a set of insulin delivery actions that may include delivery of a baseline basal rate or predefined variations of the baseline basal rate. The method may also include monitoring previous insulin delivery actions to the user to determine whether the previous insulin delivery actions include insulin beyond a threshold amount, where the previous insulin delivery actions may include delivery of the baseline basal rate or predefined variations of the baseline basal rate, and, based on the previous insulin delivery actions including insulin beyond the threshold amount, adjusting the set of insulin delivery actions.

BROWBLADE ADAPTER MECHANISM
20210187765 · 2021-06-24 · ·

An eyebrow device includes a brow ink pen or pencil connected to a reciprocating or oscillating electric driver, wherein at least one of a stroke length, stroke angle, stroke force, arc length, and cycle rate of the brow ink pen or pencil are adjustable. A computer-implemented method of shaping an eyebrow with ink, includes: creating, by a computing device, a pre-altered eyebrow of a user; creating, by the computing device, a plurality of eyebrow shaping effects; creating, by the computing device, a questionnaire in which the user selects at least one eyebrow shaping effect from the plurality of eyebrow shaping effects; and providing, by the computing device, instructions for an eyebrow device how to shape the pre-altered eyebrow of the user to resemble the eyebrow shaping effect selected by the user.

MEDICAL SYSTEM WITH DOCKING STATION AND MOBILE MACHINE
20210193303 · 2021-06-24 ·

A computer-implemented medical system is provided. The system includes a docking station and a mobile machine. The system is configured to perform operations comprising: receiving, by the mobile machine and from a user, a request to transport the mobile machine to a target location to perform a medical treatment; automatically navigating the mobile machine to the target location; performing, by the mobile machine, the medical treatment on a patient; determining, by the mobile machine, that the medical treatment is completed and the mobile machine is disconnected from the patient; automatically navigating the mobile machine to a stationary docking station of the medical system; and determining that the mobile machine is connected to the docking station through one or more connectors, and in response, receiving, by the mobile machine, at least one of an electrical charge, a refill of one or more supplies, a cleaning, or a drain of waste.

TRANSLATING THERAPY PARAMETERS OF AN INSULIN THERAPY SYSTEM TO TRANSLATED THERAPY PARAMETERS FOR USE AT A DIFFERENT INSULIN THERAPY SYSTEM
20210178067 · 2021-06-17 ·

Systems, storage media and computer-readable media are provided for translating one or more therapy parameters of a first insulin therapy system to one or more translated therapy parameters for use at a second insulin therapy system that is different than the first insulin therapy system. A therapy profile generated at the first insulin therapy system can be send to a translation service. The therapy profile includes one or more therapy parameters. At least one therapy parameter from the therapy profile can be translated into at least one translated therapy parameter that is mapped to and adapted for use by the second insulin therapy system. The at least one translated therapy parameter can then be sent to the second insulin therapy system for use at the second insulin therapy system.

ADJUSTING OPERATION OF A MEDICATION DELIVERY SYSTEM IN RESPONSE TO GESTURE-INDICATED ACTIVITY CHANGES
20210178068 · 2021-06-17 ·

A system disclosed here includes an insulin infusion device, a gesture-based physical behavior detection system that generates gesture data for a user, and a controller that controls operation of the insulin infusion device. The controller performs adaptive training of at least one feature, function, setting, or model associated with the insulin infusion device, based at least in part on the sensor data. The controller processes activity-identifying data that indicates a current behavior pattern of the user, and that includes gesture data provided by the gesture-based physical behavior detection system. The controller determines, from the activity-identifying data, that the current behavior pattern differs from a currently implemented therapy behavior pattern of the user, and, in response to the determination, alters the adaptive training of the at least one feature, function, setting, or model.

INTEGRATION OF INFUSION PUMP WITH REMOTE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
20210146041 · 2021-05-20 ·

A system and method can provide for a remote electronic device to be used to remotely initiate delivery of a medicament bolus with a medical device, such as an insulin pump, with the medical device providing audible or tactile confirmation of the programmed bolus. The bolus amount can be calculated by or programmed or otherwise entered into the smartphone, etc., and then transmitted to the medical device. When the pump receives the transmitted bolus amount, it issues one or more indications such as audible sounds and/or vibrations in any number of desired combinations. For instance, each individual sound or vibration may correspond to an increment of the medicament. The user can therefore determine the size of the medicament bolus by the number of sounds or vibrations and can confirm or cancel delivery of the bolus.
