DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE HAVING DOSE INDICATOR
A drug delivery device includes a housing defining a shell having a proximal end and a distal end and a longitudinal axis extending between the proximal end and the distal end, a needle assembly at least partially disposed within the housing at the proximal end, a drive assembly at least partially disposed within the housing and operably coupled to the needle assembly, and an audible indicator operably coupled to the drive assembly. The needle assembly includes a syringe containing a medicament and a needle or a cannula. The drive assembly is movable between an initial position and a second position that results in the medicament being expelled from the syringe. Upon the drive assembly being positioned in the second position, the audible indicator engages the drive assembly to generate an audible sound indicating the medicament has been expelled from the syringe.
Systems and Methods for a Mask with User Health Sensors
A computer-implemented method for using a sensor incorporated into a mask, computer program product, and mask with a computer system for obtaining, from a sensor, data associated with a biological attribute of a user. The data may be processed to determine whether the data is within a threshold range. An indication of whether the data is within the threshold range may be provided.
Acoustic Detection of a Usage of an Injection Device
Implementations of the present disclosure are directed to an injection device including a medicament reservoir configured to store a medicament to be expelled by the injection device, and an acoustic source configured to generate an acoustic signal including information indicative of an amount of the medicament stored in the medicament reservoir. The acoustic signal is transmitted to an external device configured to process the acoustic signal and to extract injection device data.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR ACOUSTIC MONITORING OF RESPIRATORY THERAPY DEVICES
Systems and methods implement a status assessment of a respiratory device with sound evaluation. In some versions, the system may include a motor operated pressure generator to generate airflow through an air circuit to a patient interface. The system may include a transducer producing a signal representing sound of the generator in the circuit. The system may include a controller, such as with a processor, for generator control. The system, such as with the controller, computes a sound representation in the frequency domain. The system applies, to the frequency domain representation, any one or more of an integer-multiple function, non-integer-multiple function, a statistical correlation function and resonant frequency function, such as of a fundamental frequency attributable to motor operation. The system may derive a noise vector with data from the function(s). The system may classify the vector to obtain a status indicator of the generator and generate indicator related output.
INHALER SYSTEMS
An inhaler device is operable to deliver a dose of an inhalable active ingredient. The inhaler device comprises a housing comprising a mouthpiece, a removable flow regulator at least partly received within the housing, the flow regulator defining a cavity operable to receive a vessel comprising the active ingredient, and an electronic component operable to monitor inhaler data and to transmit the inhaler data to a remote device. An inhaler system comprises, together with an inhaler or inhaler cap, a computer programme application operable, when run on a client device, to cause the client device to receive inhaler data from the electronic component.
To be accompanied, when published, by FIG. 1 of the drawings.
System and method for collecting injection information
A system for measuring injection of a liquid medicine includes a syringe body having proximal and distal ends, a syringe interior, and a syringe flange at the proximal end thereof. The system also includes a stopper member disposed in the syringe interior. The system further includes a plunger member coupled to the stopper member and configured to be manipulated to insert the stopper member distally in the syringe interior relative to the syringe body. Moreover, the system includes a needle coupled to the syringe body at the distal end thereof. In addition, the system includes a sensor flange removably coupled to a syringe body. The sensor flange includes a sensor to measure an injection characteristic and a processor to analyze the injection characteristic to determine an occurrence of an injection event.
Feedback Mechanism for an Injection Device
A feedback mechanism for an injection device that is configured to deliver a medicament to a user is described. The feedback mechanism has a biasing member that is arranged to apply a force to a delay element, and the delay element is configured to deform and/or break under the force. The feedback mechanism also includes an indicator arranged to generate user feedback after the delay element is deformed and/or broken. The delay element is configured to deform and/or break at a time after the force is applied by the biasing member to create a delay before the user feedback is generated.
AUDIBLE INDICATOR
The present disclosure relates to an audible indicator for use with a drug delivery device, the audible indicator including a spring element configured to reside in one of a relaxed state and a biased state, wherein the audible indicator includes a rotatable element coupled to the spring element, and wherein the spring element releases stored energy to rotate the rotatable element such that the rotatable element impacts a surface to generate an audible signal when the spring element changes from the biased state into the relaxed state.
AUDIBLE INDICATOR FOR A DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
The disclosure relates to a drug delivery device, comprising a mechanical audible indicator capable of producing an audible signal with a volume of at least 100 dB.
Injection location and/or dosage determination device and system for a liquid drug administration device or system
A position determination device and system for determining and registering an injection location of a liquid drug administered on a body part of a user. The position determination device and system includes a position determination element configured to provide a position signal representing a current location of the position determination device, and one or more processing units configured to derive data representing an actual injection location based on the user in response to a current location being determined by the position determination unit. The position determination device can be further configured for determining a dosage activity performed by a liquid drug administration device based on obtaining at least one vibration signal from a vibration determination element.
