A multi-lemon squeezer that is comprised of a frame that supports a gear train and a rack guide. A rack is held within the rack guide and the rack has a press on a bottom end of the rack. The bottom of the press defines a plurality of outward conical structures. The frame defines a base that supports a receptacle that has a removable cover. The removable cover defines a plurality perforated cups that receive the plurality of outward conical structures of the press. A lever attaches to the gear train to provide the force needed to move the rack downward to squeeze any lemons held within the plurality of perforated cups of the removable cover.

A press includes a movable platen and a non-moving platen within a housing defining a pressing chamber, an opening is defined at the top of the pressing chamber for receiving a juice pack and an outlet is defined in a front wall of the chamber vertically between the top and bottom of the movable platen. The lid may include a front portion extending over the front of the pressing chamber and defining a slot that is aligned with a slot defined by the front wall to form the outlet. The front wall, the lid, and a sidewall may be removable for cleaning. The juice pack may have edges defining a rectangle with a spout at a first corner and an aperture for suspending the juice pack in the pressing chamber at a second corner that is intersected by a same edge intersecting the first corner.

A heat press for extracting fluid, such as oil, from a biological plant. A lower heat platen is fixedly attached to a main frame and an upper heat platen is retractably positioned opposite to the lower heat platen. A control mechanism that consists of a single pressure regulator system or a dual pressure regulator system is used to control pressure of a pressing operation of the heat press. Alternatively, a digital regulator system can be used to control pressure, time, and temperature of a pressing operation of the heat press. At least one of the upper and lower heat platens has embedded heating elements and an isolated thermocouple. A user interface panel, having an LCD display, a user keyboard, or a touchscreen display is also mounted to the main enclosure.

The invention relates to a method of separating cocoa mass into cocoa butter and cocoa cake by means of a press (1) comprising one or more pressing elements (6) in turn comprising a pot (7) having a cavity (8) for receiving cocoa mass to be pressed, a squeezer (9) located at least partially in the cavity (8), and at least one filter (11) disposed in front of the squeezer (9) and/or on the side of the cavity (8) opposite the squeezer (9), which method comprises the steps of filling the cavity or cavities (8) with cocoa mass, exerting pressure on the pressing element(s) (6) thus pressing cocoa butter through the filter(s) (11), releasing pressure from the pressing element(s) (6), and opening the pot(s) (7) to remove the cocoa cake(s) from the cavity or cavities (8). Prior to releasing the pressure from the pressing element(s) (6), cocoa butter is purged from at least the space(s) (13) behind the filter(s) (11).

A support device for supporting the portafilter projects out of a front wall of the espresso machine. The portafilter is placed on the support device in a first coffee-dispensing position below a coffee grounds dispenser, then moved to a second position below a pressing device. In the second position, a pestle of the pressing device is moved vertically toward the dose of coffee contained in a basket of the portafilter to compress the coffee grounds a desired amount, and is then removed vertically away from the basket of the portafilter containing the pressed coffee dose.
