Rain Cloud
Disclosed is a watering device that is designed as a rain cloud for plants usable with a plant container. The device is designed to be appealing yet functional for watering plants while affixed in a suspended position. The disclosure serves a novel purpose of watering plants while allowing for an aesthetic effect by allowing individual water droplets to nurture a user's plants in a welcoming manner.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING A NOVELTY WATERING SYSTEM
The present configuration relates to a novelty watering device for use in watering a plant positioned in a planting container, which provides improved and various dripping characteristics.
RICE SEEDLING SUBSTRATE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a rice seedling substrate and a preparation method thereof, which is of the technical field of rice planting. The rice seedling substrate according to the invention was prepared from the raw materials includes the following by volume: 40-60% of dredging sediment, 30-50% of vegetable straw, and 10-30% of hickory shell. The rice seedling substrate according to the invention can not only turn waste into treasure to improve the recycling rate of sediment and agricultural and forestry waste resources, but also save the limited cultivated soils, reduce the production cost of rice seedling substrate, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of rice planting. Therefore, The inventive substrate has significant benefits in terms of economics, sociology and ecology.
Systems and methods for moving wetted seed through a grow pod system
A method for pumping seeds to an assembly line grow pods includes releasing seeds to a pipe in fluid communication with a pump, moving water from a water source to the pipe in fluid communication with the pump, combining the seeds released from the tank with the water from the water source in the pipe, and pumping the combination of the seeds released from the tank and the water from the water source to a grow pod line in fluid communication with the pump, and moving the seeds from the grow pod line to one or more carts of an assembly line grow pod.
Mixed media vertical farming
A mixed media farm may include a tray for holding water at a prescribed water level. A cell may be placable on the tray, with the cell defining a cavity and having at least one opening in communication with the cavity. The cell may be sized such that when the cell is placed on the tray, a lower portion of the cell resides below the prescribed water level and an upper portion of the cell resides above the prescribed water level. Soil may be in the cavity, with the soil having a lower portion below the prescribed water level, and an upper portion above the prescribed water level when the cell is placed in the tray. A plurality of seeds may be planted in the upper portion of the soil, with the plurality of seeds defining a seed density of greater than 5 seeds per square inch.
CONTROL SPACE OPERATING SYSTEM
A control space operating system. The system includes a control space with one or more data source zones and a control space manager. The control space manager can collect data and control different variables across different data source zones in order to determine optimal policies and conditions for data source growth and generation.
GROWSPACE AUTOMATION
A growspace automation system and method. The system includes a grow space with localization structures and a mobile robot. The mobile robot comprises sensors, a mobility mechanism, and a plurality of mobility modules. The mobile robot is configured to automate growspace processes, such as transport, watering, sensing, or cleaning.
LOW FLOW PLUMBING SYSTEM
A plumbing system and water transport method. The system includes a global water source, a one way water transport mechanism, a growing tray, and a local buffer. The local buffer separates the global water source and the growing tray to prevent cross-contamination of water. The local buffer also continuously provides water to the growing tray on demand without the need for filtering or dumping of used or excess water. This results in low flow, efficient water transport.
GROW METHOD AND SYSTEM
A hydroponic grow system and grow method. The system includes growing plants in grow modules that are individually moveable. The plants grow in trays where roots never touch the water supply.
PLANT CULTIVATING APPARATUS
A plant cultivating apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a main body, a shelf, a cultivation bed, and a cultivation container. The shelf is disposed in the cultivation space formed in the main body, the cultivation bed is disposed on the shelf, and the cultivation container is seated in the cultivation bed. The cultivation bed includes a water supply part for receiving a predetermined amount of water. In addition, the shelf includes a water level sensor. The water level sensor is positioned vertically below the water supply part to measure an amount of water stored in the water supply part.
