Apparatus for automated control for a performance vegetation wall system
A vegetation wall system includes an irrigation tank, a vegetation mounting unit with a vegetation holding unit, a pump feeding water from the tank to the holding unit, a programmable logic control unit including a central processing unit and a sensor, wherein the central processing unit monitors an aspect in the wall system by measuring, by the sensor, a component of the aspect as a first component measurement, waiting a predetermined period of time and then measuring, by the sensor, the component of the aspect as a second component measurement, determining, by the central processing unit, a change in the aspect based on the first and second measurements and the predetermined period of time, determining whether the change is outside a threshold range, in response to determining that the change is outside the threshold range, determining that an anomalous condition exists, and generating an alert when the anomalous condition exists.
Planter pot drain tray including an elevated central pedestal, an oblique liquid drain away, and support members
Embodiments include a planter pot drain tray having an elevated central pedestal member and an oblique liquid drain away member surrounding the elevated central pedestal member. The oblique liquid drain away member includes a high point at a first end of the planter pot drain tray and a low point at a second end of the planter pot drain tray. The planter pot drain tray includes a flanged outer rim coupled to an outer edge of the oblique liquid drain away member, and a drain spout member coupled to the flanged outer rim at the low point of the oblique liquid drain away member. The elevated central pedestal member, the oblique liquid drain away member, and the drain well permit the water runoff to be completely drained through the drain spout member. Multiple planter pot drain tray can be daisy-chained together.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, WATER-SUPPLY SYSTEM,INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
An information processing device includes: an image acquiring section that acquires image data of an image of a plant; a form recognizing section that recognizes at least either (i) a shape of the plant or (ii) an end portion of the plant, based on the image data acquired by the image acquiring section; and a deciding section that decides at least one of (a) a level of water content in a medium of the plant, (b) whether water-supply to the plant is necessary or not, and (c) an amount of water-supply to the plant, based on a feature of at least either the shape of the plant or the end portion of the plant that is recognized by the form recognizing section.
Fluid Manifold
A fluid manifold for distributing a source of fluid is described, and which includes a valve body having a plurality of fluid outlets which are coupled in fluid receiving communication relative to an internal cavity, and which is defined by the valve body, and a selectively adjustable valve member is received within the internal cavity of the valve body, and is further operable to meter the source of fluid delivered into the internal cavity and which then escapes the valve body by way of the plurality of fluid outlets for distribution to a predetermined destination.
Self-Watering Planter Tray
A self-watering tray device having an integral internal irrigation system, and a method of watering allowing water to be supplied by means of standard garden water hose and existing water faucet. A plurality of said self-watering trays capable of being daisy-chained in a serial configuration to allow a single source of water from a standard water faucet and standard garden water hoses to provide irrigation water to all of said plurality of self-watering trays and non-self-watering planters positioned thereon.
SYSTEM FOR CULTIVATING PLANTS OR VEGETABLES
A system for cultivating plants or vegetables, includes a carrier for holding trays accommodating the plants or vegetables, the carrier having an interior formed by a bottom and raised edges extending circumferentially along the bottom to form a container for holding a liquid for cultivating plants or vegetables, and an opening arranged at the bottom; a frame to support the carrier; a supply duct for supplying the liquid towards the carrier, the supply duct arranged at least partly under the carrier; a sprayer device which is at one end fluidly connected to the supply duct and which is at the other provided with a nozzle to direct a flow of liquid to the interior of the carrier; wherein the sprayer device is arranged through the opening of the carrier, the nozzle protruding into the interior of the carrier when the carrier is positioned on the frame.
MICROGRAVITY AGRICULTURE DEVICE
A microgravity agriculture device includes a root cylinder providing a growing medium for the plant and intended for root growth. The root cylinder will extend into a water tank, and the root cylinder will include apertures and wicking elements to draw water from the water tank into the root cylinder for availability to the plant roots. The geometries of the water tank, root cylinder, apertures and wicking elements are designed in a manner to ensure water surface tension will cause water in the tank to fill and stay in the proper areas to ensure water flow to the plant, no obstruction of vents during tank filling, and no egress of the water through the vents.
DURABLE AND MODULAR SELF-WATERING SYSTEM FOR GROWING PLANTS
A self-watering system includes a base comprising a reservoir configured to store a defined volume of water and a plurality of wick modules coupled to the base, the plurality of wick modules arranged in an organized pattern and configured to disperse the water from the reservoir. The self-watering system further includes a removable fill tube coupled to the base and configured to receive the water to fill the reservoir, and a removable drain tube coupled to the base and configured to remove the water from the reservoir.
VERTICAL GROWING SYSTEM FOR CAPTURING THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACE
A vertical growing device that uses three-dimensional space effectively, resulting in an inexpensive way to grow plants in a modicum of space. The system is comprised of root bucket (100) with trunk (101) upon the bottom of root bucket (100) and rising out of the lid of root bucket (100.) The part of trunk (101) above the lid has a number of holes which allow the attachment of plumbing fittings, such as street elbows (104) and or other plumbing fittings. Attached to street elbows (104) are branch tubes (103) with grow bays (102.)
Downpipe assembly
