Press
Embodiments related to press machines, including presses to extract juice from food matter contained within a cartridge. The cartridge is compressible by the press and juice can be expelled through a cartridge outlet extendible though the press region.
SCREW PRESS FOR SEPARATION OF LIQUIDS FROM BULK MATERIALS
A screw press liquid separator includes an elongated housing having an inlet end and a discharge end, a screw cradle in the form of a sieve disposed within the housing and having a bulk material inlet disposed at the inlet end of the housing, at least one section of the screw cradle mechanically coupled to a vibrator motor, a screw formed on a shaft and disposed within the screw cradle, the screw extending from the inlet end of the screw cradle to a discharge end of the screw cradle, a motor rotatably coupled to the shaft, and pair of opposing discharge doors pivotally mounted to the discharge end of the housing and movable between an opened position and a closed position, the discharge doors driven to positions that maintain a substantially constant pressure on bulk material being driven by the screw towards the discharge end of the housing.
Device for producing ceramic parts
A slip casting mold is useful for producing a ceramic die cast part. The slip casting mold includes a first mold part with a first main part and a first filtration layer and comprising at least one second mold part with a second main part and a second filtration layer. The first main part is equipped with at least one first dewatering channel with at least one dewatering channel end that opens into a second dewatering channel within the second mold part or into a dewatering channel within an additional dewatering body in a casting position.
Screw feeder
A screw feeder includes a pipe, feed screw, rotatory shaft, dewatering holes, anti-rotation bars extending inside the pipe and protruding towards the feed screw, an inlet to receive solid-liquid mixture, and an outlet to discharge partially dewatered solid. The pipe includes at least one pipe section having a first peripheral zone in a vertically lower area with dewatering holes but no anti-rotation bars and a second peripheral zone in a vertically upper area with anti-rotation bars. A pipe profile includes two differently shaped profiles, a first and second pipe profile are selected from a square-shaped, partly circular, and a partly elliptically-shaped profile. The first pipe profile is selected to enable outer edges of the feed screw to remove material overlying the dewatering holes, and the second pipe profile is selected to prohibit contact between the outer edges of the feed screw and the anti-rotation bars.

Partial or whole food hopper, grinder and cold press counter-top juicing machine, system and method
Apparatus, system and method for cold pressing juice from a food including a food delivery chute, a food grinder, and a pressing chamber which may removably fit together as a single, stand-alone unit.
FILTER-PRESS FILTER-CLOTH DAMAGE DETECTION DEVICE
A filter-press filter-cloth damage detection device for a filter press includes a detection path and a detection device. In the filter press, a filtrate produced by solid-liquid separation operation of a filter cloth nipped between filter plates is discharged into a collection pipe via a filtrate passage of each of the filter plates. The detection path extends in a straight line. A filtrate discharged from each of filtration chambers formed between adjacent filter plates is collected to the detection path. The detection device is configured to transmit, from an end portion of the detection path, an irradiation wave or a pulse that reflects on an interface between a clear filtrate and a filtrate with a prescribed turbidity, convert a propagation time from the transmission until reception of a reflected wave into a distance, and output the distance.
Improved Oil-Bearing Material Extraction Device And System
A commercial-scale oil-bearing material expeller press having an oil-bearing material inlet, an oil-bearing material press cake outlet and an oil outlet in a temperature-controlled barrel; said barrel housing a compression screw; said compression screw having a central shaft and a plurality of continuous or discontinuous screw flights wherein there are one or more compression zones along the direction of travel of said oil-bearing materials from said oil-bearing material inlet to said oil-bearing material outlet, wherein said central shaft increases in diameter in said direction of travel; and wherein at least said barrel is adapted to be cooled in a plurality of cooling zones.

DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUSLY PRESSING LIQUID OUT OF A SUSPENSION
A device is described for continuously pressing liquid out of a suspension, in particular a screw press, which may have a rotationally-driven rotor, which may rotate in a tubular screw housing and support a conveyor screw. The screw housing may be at least partially formed as a first filter jacket, which may at least partially interact with the conveyor screw and which may have radial passages for discharging the filtered liquid and which may supply a filter cake, made of retained solids, in the conveyance direction of the conveyor screw to a discharge. To provide advantageous filter conditions, a ring-shaped first sleeve, which coaxially encloses the rotor, for peeling off an outer filter cake layer from the filter cake may be associated with the rotor, downstream from the conveyor screw. A conveyance channel for the remaining inner filter cake layer may be provided between sleeve and rotor.
