SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECOMPRESSING ROUND BALES INTO SQUARE BALES
A system for recompressing a round bale into a square bale includes a bottom platen and a fixed platen proximate the bottom platen. The system includes a transfer table to receive the round bale. The transfer table is movable relative to the bottom platen to transfer the round bale to the bottom platen and to recompress the round bale. The system includes an upper platen rotatable relative to the bottom platen and the fixed platen. The upper platen is rotatable between a first position to receive the round bale between the bottom platen, the fixed platen and the upper platen, and a second position in which the upper platen cooperates with the transfer table to recompress the round bale into the square bale.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECOMPRESSING ROUND BALES INTO SQUARE BALES
An accumulator system for a bale recompression system that recompresses a round bale into a square bale includes a bottom platen to receive the round bale and a movable platen translatable relative to the bottom platen. The accumulator system includes a source of a bale diameter that indicates a diameter of the round bale to be received and a controller, having a processor, configured to: receive as input the bale diameter and output one or more control signals to move the movable platen based on the bale diameter.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECOMPRESSING ROUND BALES INTO SQUARE BALES
An actuation system for moving a movable platen of a bale recompression system includes one or more actuators, a first scissors linkage, a second scissors linkage and a cross-member. The first scissors linkage has a first link end coupled to a frame of the bale recompression system and has a second link end coupled to the movable platen. The second scissors linkage has a third link end coupled to the frame and has a fourth link end coupled to the movable platen. The cross-member interconnects the first scissors linkage and the second scissors linkage. Actuation of the one or more actuator pivots the first link end of the first scissors linkage and the third link end of the second scissors linkage relative to the frame and translates the movable platen from a first position to a second position. The first scissors linkage and the second scissors linkage are configured to maintain a fixed orientation of the movable platen in the first position and in the second position.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECOMPRESSING ROUND BALES INTO SQUARE BALES
A system for recompressing a round bale into a square bale includes a bottom platen to receive the round bale and a movable platen translatable relative to the bottom platen. The system includes an upper platen rotatable relative to the bottom platen. The upper platen is rotatable between a first position to receive the round bale between the bottom platen, the movable platen and the upper platen, and a second position in which the upper platen cooperates with the movable platen and the bottom platen to recompress the round bale into the square bale.
System and method for crushing and compaction
An exemplary embodiment of a screw crusher may utilize a cantilevered screw with an inverse tapered shaft with flighting for conveying the product up the length of the shaft for compression. The screw may include an end flight configured to provide thrust to the product for further conveyance beyond the end of the screw or additional compaction when utilized with a receiving container. An exemplary embodiment of the screw crusher may utilize a single moving element in relation to a cylindrical tube for compression of the product. Also, an exemplary screw compactor may utilize a fixed replaceable restrictor tube section and an efficient screw design making it more cost effective and efficient to operate than other known compactors. Furthermore, an example of the screw crusher may be fitted with perforated or the preferred V Slotted tube to perform liquid removal in addition to the compaction of the material.
BALE FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD WITH A FREE-WHEEL CLUTCH
A bale forming apparatus including a bale forming device providing a bale forming chamber, a rotatable driving member, a shaft, and a free-wheel clutch provided between the shaft and the rotatable driving member. The shaft drives at least temporarily the rotatable driving member. The free-wheel clutch transfers a rotation of the shaft onto the driving member. The rotated driving member drives at least one part of the bale forming device. The bale forming device forms a bale in the provided bale forming chamber. At least one time the rotatable driving member is rotated with respect to the shaft. The free-wheel clutch enables this rotation of the rotatable driving member.
Citrus fruit pressing device and method for pressing juice from a piece of citrus fruit
A citrus fruit pressing device comprises two pressing elements for performing a pressing action on a piece of citrus fruit, The pressing elements have surfaces for contacting different sides of a piece of citrus fruit to be pressed and are movable with respect to each other in two opposite directions, i.e. towards and away from each other. The pressing device also comprises at least one knife for performing a cutting action on a piece of citrus fruit, through the peel of the piece The at least one knife is arranged at a side position with respect to the surface of the pressing elements for penetrating into the piece from a side which is free from contact to the surfaces of the pressing elements. The at least one knife is arranged at a side position with respect to the surfaces of the pressing elements.
FINGER BALER
Disclosed are embodiments of a system and method for baling recyclable materials and managing the baling of recyclable materials. The apparatus for baling includes a finger baler for continuous compressing and baling recyclable materials, a scale, label printer, and a processor. Certain embodiments further comprise at least one digital camera, RFID dispenser, and internet connection that allows the processor to transmit collected data to a remote database for further analysis.
The disclosed method for baling recyclable materials comprising the steps of continuously adding and compressing materials; forming a completed bale; weighing the bale automatically using a digital scale operably connected to the processor; recording the bale weight automatically; and printing a label. Additionally, the method may comprise inputting information and/or automatically recording data, and/or automatically transmitting the data associated with a bale to a remote database.
SHREDDING AND BALING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A shredding and haling apparatus provided includes a shredding assembly operatively connected to a baling assembly via a conveyor. A rotatable drum with cutting teeth spirally arranged along the drum is preferably centered within a lower portion of an intake hopper for cutting through material as it is fed into the hopper. Fixed cutting teeth are preferably arranged in a row or rows along each of the longitudinal sidewalls of the hopper, adjacent the cutting drum. A touch screen display and computer may be used in combination with sensors to monitor and control the shredding and baling operation, and a hydraulic system is used to drive the components. The shredding and baling assembly is preferably designed in an industrial size to handle high volumes of material and may be driven or transported from one location to another.
