The rod and rammer are aligned with the first open end acid the second open end. The moving mechanism moves the rod and the rammer within the mold compressing the biomass in the mold.
METHOD AND BALER FOR PRESSING BALES OF MATERIAL
The invention relates to a method for pressing bales of material in a baler. The method comprises the steps of feeding the material into the baler through an inlet, pre-compressing the material under a number of compressing cycles by means of a first press, transporting the pre-compressed material by means of a transport unit into a second press, and compressing the pre-compressed material by means of the second press into a finished bale of compressed material. The method is characterised in that the step of transporting the pre-compressed material by means of a transport unit into a second press is conducted in a space of the baler, such that an undesirable expansion of the pre-compressed material can be prevented. The invention is also related to a baler for pressing bales of material.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONDITIONING AND PACKAGING FRESHLY CHOPPED BIOMASS FEEDSTOCKS FOR LONG TERM STORAGE
The method or process described is directed at conditioning and packaging freshly chopped biomass such that it can be stored for a long period of time without spoilage and such that the packaged chopped biomass is easily transportable and its composition and other properties remain stable.
DEVICE FOR FORMING BIO-LOGS AND METHOD THEREFOR
A portable biomass compactor has a frame. A mold is coupled to the frame. The mold is formed of a tubular member having a first open end and a second open end. The first open end is formed on a side opposite of the second open end and aligned with the second open end. A loading opening is formed on a top surface of the mold, wherein biomass is loaded into the mold through the loading opening. A compression mechanism is coupled to the frame. The compression mechanism has a moving mechanism. A rod having a proximate end is coupled to the moving mechanism. A rammer is coupled to a distal end of the rod. The rod and rammer are aligned with the first open end acid the second open end. The moving mechanism moves the rod and the rammer within the mold compressing the biomass in the mold. A gate is movably coupled to the frame, wherein the gate closes the second open end during compressing of the biomass and opens the second open end to eject a biomass log formed. A gate lifter is coupled to the gate raising and lowering the gate.
RAIL SYSTEM FOR A TRAVELLING CHUTE OF A RUBBER BALER AND RELATED BALING METHODS
Improved balers may include a traveling chute that may reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing downtime. The traveling chute may include moving guides that include channels that engage tongues of stationary guide rails disposed on a baler. For example, the channels may be substantially rectangular channels that run the length of the moving guide. Similarly, the stationary guides may include substantially rectangular tongues and the moving guides may slide across the tongues and upper surfaces of the stationary guides as the traveling chute moves between various positions. The moving guides may include polyoxymethylene inserts in which the channels may be provided. The moving guides and stationary guides may be provided as a kit for attachment to various baling apparatuses. Additional features and components also are described.
Light and Convenient Pneumatic Device for Preparing Tea Brick
The invention relates to a light and convenient pneumatic device for preparing tea brick includes a worktable, a supporting device arranged at the bottom of the worktable, a punching device arranged on the top of the supporting device and a limiting device arranged on the top of the worktable. The bottom of the worktable is provided with a rectangular receiving cavity with an opening upward. The supporting device includes a supporting component. The punching device includes a power component, a punching component and a waterproof component. The punching component includes a punching block. The light and convenient pneumatic device for preparing tea brick of the present invention includes a working compartment for holding tea leaves which is constituted by a limit block, a rectangular receiving cavity and a punching block. The punching block is used to punch. The tea leaves in the working compartment are extruded to tea bricks. The punched tea brick can be ejected together with the limiting blocks which facilitates to take the tea bricks out. The bottom of the worktable is provided with a water receiving tray which is used to receive the water during the extrusion process. The device is small and convenient which facilitates to process and prepare tea bricks on a small-scale.
