MULTI-ANVIL HIGH PRESSURE PRESS AND RELATED METHODS
A high-temperature, high-pressure (HTHP) press is provided having a plurality of press bases. In one embodiment, the press includes eight or more press bases arranged in one of an octahedral, a dodecahedral or an icosahedral geometry. The press bases may include, or be coupled with, anvils configured to converge on a central region. An octahedral, a dodecahedral or an icosahedral reaction cell may be positioned at the central region for pressing by the converging anvils. In one embodiment, the reaction cell may include an opening, such as a through-hole, extending from a first face of the reaction cell to a second, opposite face of the reaction cell. One or more canisters containing materials to be sintered may be disposed in the opening to be subjected to a HTHP process.

Expandable foaming molds and applications thereof
Described herein are expandable foaming molds. The foaming molds described herein permit mold boundaries to expand along with the expanding polymer and thereby conform to the foaming dynamics of the polymer material. By modifying the temperature and pressure applied to the mold devices described herein, the properties of the resulting foamed polymer can be fine-tuned for specific applications.

COMPACTION SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR COMPACTING COMPOSITE COMPONENTS
Compaction systems and methods of compacting components are provided. In one aspect, a laminate of a component can be laid up on a tool of a compaction system. The laminate defines a cavity. A noodle is positioned relative to or in the cavity. A noodle ring is then positioned relative to the noodle. For instance, the noodle ring can be placed over the noodle. A cross section of the noodle ring can be shaped complementary to a cross section of the noodle. A plunger of the compaction system is moved so that it engages the noodle ring. Particularly, the plunger is moved in such a way that a force is applied on the noodle ring so that the noodle ring compacts the noodle into the cavity.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING AND ASPIRATING ACTIVE SUBSTANCES, ESPECIALLY FROM THE CANNABIS PLANT
The invention relates to a capsule for use in a vaporizer, having at least one first cavity formed at least in part by a lid, side walls and bottom of the capsule, and a vaporizable active substance accommodated in the first cavity of the capsule, wherein the side walls and/or the bottom are at least in sections double-walled with an inner wall facing the first cavity of the capsule and an outer wall facing the outside of the capsule, so that at least one second cavity is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall of the capsule, inner wall facing the first cavity of the capsule and an outer wall facing the outside of the capsule, so that at least one second cavity is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall, wherein an auxiliary substance, preferably a further active substance, a chemical reactant and/or a flavoring agent is accommodated in the second cavity. A corresponding vaporizer as well as a corresponding vaporizer system are further described.
DEVICE FOR TABLETING A POWDER, LIQUID, PASTE, ENCAPSULATED OR GRANULAR ACTIVE INGREDIENT COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a device for tabletting a powdered, liquid, pasty, encapsulated or granular active ingredient composition, having a magazine which has a plurality of active ingredient containers each with an individually controllable dosing device and a nozzle for the active ingredient outlet, wherein the magazine is adjustable between a plurality of setting positions relative to at least one die chamber, wherein in each of the setting positions at least one of the nozzles faces an opening of the die chamber. A corresponding method is further described.
