METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING HARD-METAL PRESSED ARTICLES
A method for manufacturing hard-metal pressed articles includes providing a die that forms a cavity for producing a pressed article with at least one cutting edge and at least one chip breaker groove that is associated with a chip space. The step of providing the die providing a movable mold part and a movable mold body. The mold part has an operative surface, wherein the mold part at least sectionally defines the shape of a pressed article with the operative surface, and wherein the mold part is feedable in a first feed direction. The mold body has a rod-shaped operative section for producing a through-hole in the pressed article, wherein the mold body is feedable in a second feed direction. The first feed direction and the second feed direction are inclined at an angle of at least 45? to each other. The pressed article is formed from a hard-metal powder that is introduced into the cavity and compressed there in at least one main pressing direction. Forming the pressed article comprises feeding the mold part and the mold body such that the mold body is positioned in the cavity with the operative section being disposed in an abutment area on the mold part in a powder-tight relative position. A device enables the manufacture of hard-metal pressed articles.
MINI HOT PRESS APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a mini hot press apparatus, and more particularly, to an apparatus which can be used for making or annealing a polycrystalline material by pressurization and heating in various surrounding environments such as in a low vacuum, high vacuum, ultrahigh vacuum, high pressure gas, gas flow, even in air, etc.
Die apparatus
A die apparatus capable of removing powder adhering to cut surfaces so as to securely form a cavity in a desired shape includes divided dies reciprocatingly driven by sliders to comes into contact with one another so as to form a cavity. Punches are inserted into the cavity from above and below the cavity. Each divided die is provided with cut surfaces that come into contact with the other divided dies. A gas passage connected to a gas injection port that injects gas from the cut surface is formed in each divided die.
Pulp molding machine, pulp molding process and paper-shaped article made thereby
A pulp molding machine, a pulp molding process and a paper-shaped article made thereby are provided. The pulp molding machine comprises a pulp-dredging stage, a first pre-compression forming sub-stage, a second pre-compression stage, a compression thermo-forming stage and an edge-cutting stage. The pulp molding process comprises the steps of a pulp-dredging step, a first pre-compression forming step, a second pre-compression forming step, a compression thermo-forming step and an edge-cutting step. The pulp molding machine the pulp molding process can drain off water or vapor from a wet pulp more efficiently and shorten the cycle time of the pulp molding process due to the extra pre-compression sub-stage. The paper-shaped article made thereby has a greater smoothness and structural strength than conventional paper-shaped product.
Press for making a cutting tool green body having a helical flute, and method for making a cutting tool green body having a helical flute
A press for making a cutting tool green body having at least one helical flute includes a die having an opening with a helical protrusion and a punch having at least one helical groove having a shape that matches a shape of the helical protrusion. An electrical punch drive system is arranged to simultaneously rotate the punch, relative to a longitudinal axis of the opening in the die, and axially advance the punch into and along a direction of the longitudinal axis of the opening in the die. A method for making a cutting tool green body having at least one helical flute is also disclosed.
Method and a device for manufacturing a cutting insert green body
A device for manufacturing a cutting insert green body by compacting a powder includes a die having an upper die part and a lower die, an upper punch and a lower punch, at least one of which is moveable along a pressing axis in relation to the die. The upper and lower die parts, when joined, define a die cavity that defines the shape of the green body to be formed by the compaction. At least one of the lower and upper die part has a pressing bore extending from the cavity for receiving the lower and upper punch. The upper die part has an upper surface that, at least in one direction, extends rectilinearly, and the upper die part has an upper opening in the upper surface, through which the upper punch is arranged to be forwarded into the cavity.
Method and device for manufacturing a cutting insert green body
A method and device for manufacturing a cutting insert green body, the method includes the step of providing a compression tool having an upper and lower die, and an upper and lower punch. The upper die defines a punch tunnel in which the upper punch slides, and the lower die defines a punch tunnel in which the lower punch slides. The dies define a die cavity to accommodate a powder to be compressed by action of the respective punches to form the green body. Powder in the die cavity is compressed by forwarding the upper punch through the punch tunnel of the upper die and a predetermined distance L through the opening of the lower die. The upper die is displaced relative to the opening of the lower die and the upper punch is removed from the lower die to move the green body out of the lower die through the opening thereof.
Handheld concealed pill morsel former
A handheld concealed pill morsel former enables a user to easily conceal a pill within a morsel of malleable food product without excessive handling of the malleable food product. A first arm and a second arm are configured to rotated toward a top and bottom opening of a mold body cavity, respectively. A press extends from the first arm and is configured to extend into the mold cavity to compress the malleable food product. A plunger is coupled with the first arm and is configured to slide with respect to the first arm and press. The plunger has a plunger face that is configured to be extended down into the malleable food product to from a pill recess. A pill can then be placed into the pill recess and the press can be rotated back down into mold cavity to form a concealed pill morsel.
Method of and a device for the compaction of a powder into a cutting insert green body
A device for manufacturing a cutting insert green body by compacting a powder includes a first punch, a second punch having a punch edge that has a curvature around the circumference of the punch edge that is at least partially non-perpendicular with a pressing axis of the device, a first die part, and a second die part. When the first and second die parts are joined together when filling the die with powder, one of the first and second die parts is on top of the other and, when the device is in a position ready for filling of powder into the die, the device presents a cavity defined by the lower die part, a punch being introduced into the lower and upper die part. An opening in an upper end surface of the upper die part enables filling of the powder into the cavity.
