The turret (10) defines an axial direction (a) and a radial direction (r), the punches being arranged at a predefined radius defining a pitch (p) of the turret. The rotary tablet press comprises a bearing assembly (50) connected to the turret (10) and providing support to at least one auxiliary component of the rotary tablet press and the bearing assembly comprises a bearing (51) and a support means (60) for the at least one auxiliary component, and the bearing (51) is positioned outside the pitch (p) of the turret in the radial direction (r).
MOLD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GOS CERAMIC SCINTILLATOR USING THE SAME
A mold and a method of manufacturing GOS ceramic scintillator by using the mold are provided. The mold comprises: a female outer sleeve having a cavity disposed inside; a plurality of female blocks disposed inside the cavity, the plurality of female blocks being put together to form a composite structure having a vertical through hole; and a male upper pressing head and a male lower pressing head, wherein each of the male upper pressing head and the male lower pressing head has a shape consistent with that of the vertical through hole. The disclosure may reduce defects of the related art in hot-pressing-sintering such as a mold has a short retirement period and a high material waste, significantly reduce the cost for production of the GOS ceramic scintillator, and significantly improve a process economy.
SLIDING FRICTIONAL FORCE GENERATION MECHANISM BY FITTING AND DIE CUSION FOR PRESS MACHINE
A sliding frictional force generation mechanism includes a metal hole member having a hole, a metal shaft member fitted in the hole of the hole member in an axially slidable manner, and a lubrication mechanism configured to supply lubricating oil serving as a cooling medium between the holed ember and the shaft member. The shaft member is fitted in the hole in an interference fit state.
METAL SCRAP COMPRESSOR
A metal scrap compressor obviates cut scraps accumulation potentially causing malfunction of a press cylinder device. In a metal scrap compressor, a press cylinder device includes: a pair of wall-like side blocks disposed between a cylinder flange at an end of a cylinder tube and a base on a base stand so as to form a frame structure; and a cup-shaped block member removably mounted on the base as disposed between these side blocks and containing therein a pressure forming chamber. The block member includes a charging opening for metal scraps, allows a press ram replaceably mounted to a distal end of a piston rod of the press cylinder device to be reciprocally slidably inserted therein through a ceiling thereof, and includes therein a press forming die replaceably mounted to a distal end of the press ram and reciprocally moved in the pressure forming chamber.
Methods for Making Rubber Bales
Methods for forming improved bales may include using baling equipment with multi-component bolster assemblies that may ease installation and removal, reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing material waste, imperfections, and/or contamination. The bolster assemblies may include a plurality of coupling portions that engage a hydraulic rod and may enable the bolster assembly to self-center within a press chamber during normal baling operations. The bolster assemblies also may include an island portion that may be attached to the coupling portions and to a bolster cap, and the latter may be attached using retainer bolts having substantially planar heads that may define lips that run about frustums. The bolts may substantially planar head may reduce irregularities in the bale and the lips may prevent material seepage into the bolster assemblies.
METHOD AND MACHINE FOR BENDING METAL INCLUDING LOCKING MECHANISM FOR ADJUSTABLE DIE
A press brake for bending a workpiece. The press brake a movable ram and a support beam. A punch is connected to the ram, and a die is connected to the support beam. The punch and the die are separated by a gap and the workpiece is placed in the gap in order to be bent. The ram is configured to be driven towards the support beam to thereby close the gap between the punch and the die. The die includes a pair of die members extending in a longitudinal direction separated by a recess having a width in a lateral direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The width of the recess is adjustable by moving the die members. The die members are configured to move vertically to disengage from the support beam to thereby allow for lateral movement of the die members to adjust the width of the recess.
BENDING SYSTEM, AND DIVIDED TOOL ARRANGEMENT METHOD
A gathering operation includes a restraint operation of moving forward a left lower tool retention member so as to restrain a reference lower tool with the left lower tool retention member, an inserting operation of moving forward a right lower tool retention member so as to insert the right lower tool retention member into an insertion hole of a target lower tool, and an execution operation of moving the left and right lower tool retention members along a left-right direction so as to come close with each other. If a failure of the inserting operation is determined, a control device performs a retry operation of moving forward the right lower tool retention member again so as to insert the right lower tool retention member into the insertion hole (141) of the target lower tool after moving backward the left lower tool retention member.
Tooling assembly for powder compacting press machine
A tooling assembly is for a powder compacting press machine, which has a lower punch chuck and a core rod chuck. The tooling assembly has: a lower punch with a lower punch drawbar for holding the lower punch in the lower punch chuck in the powder compacting press machine; a core rod with a core rod drawbar for holding the core rod in the core rod chuck in the powder compacting press machine; and a coupling mechanism configured to enable a connection between the lower punch and the core rod. The coupling mechanism has a male coupling element on an outer surface of the core rod and a female coupling element on an inner surface of the lower punch drawbar. The male coupling element is an elastic element.
ROTARY PRESS COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE COMPRESSION ROLL STATION MOUNTABLE ON A SUPPORT PLATE, AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING AND DETACHING THE COMPRESSION ROLL STATION
The invention relates to a rotary press comprising at least one compression roll station (1) that can be mounted on a support plate (2) as well as to methods for attaching and detaching the compression roll station. According to the invention, the at least one compression roll station comprises a retaining device (21), and the rotary press comprises a support plate (2) with at least one cavity (22) for accommodating the retaining device (21) of the compression roll station.
Rubber bales and apparatus and method for making same
Improved bales may be formed using methods that include baling equipment with multi-component bolster assemblies that may ease installation and removal, reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing material waste, imperfections, and/or contamination. The bolster assemblies may include a plurality of coupling portions that engage a hydraulic rod and may enable the bolster assembly to self-center within a press chamber during normal baling operations. The bolster assemblies also may include an island portion that may be attached to the coupling portions and to a bolster cap, and the latter may be attached using retainer bolts having substantially flat, non-circular heads. The bolts may reduce irregularities in the bale and/or prevent material seepage into the bolster assemblies.
