Concrete product machine mold assembly stripper head support
A device for supporting stripper head on a mold box of a concrete product machine mold assembly. The device includes a set of attachment hardware that connects a stand-off leg to a stripper head plate to support the stripper head with the stripper head plungers disposed in respective protected positions within respective plunger receptacles of the mold box. The hardware set comprises a ferrous metal portion configured to be carried by the stripper head plate and a magnetic portion carried by the stand-off leg in a position to magnetically engage the ferrous metal portion and allow for removable attachment of the stand-off leg to the stripper head plate when the ferrous metal portion is carried by the stripper head plate.
PRESS APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PRESS-FORMED PRODUCT
A press apparatus 1 includes: a first die part 2 having a first working surface 2a; a second die part 3 having a second working surface 3a; a first support member 4 that supports the first die part 2; and a second support member 5 that supports the second die part 3. At least one of the first and second die parts 2 and 3 provides a clearance S1, S2 present in at least a portion of an overlap region R1, the overlap region being overlapped by the first and second working surfaces 2a and 3a as viewed in the press direction, the dimension of the clearance in the press direction in a no-load condition being non-uniform along two orthogonal directions as viewed in the press direction. The minimum dimension of the clearance Si within an inner region R1u in the no-load condition is smaller than the minimum dimension of the clearance S1 within an outer region R1s in the no-load condition, the inner region defined by, and located inward of, the middle line between the centroid G and edge of the overlap region R1.
SAFETY RAIL FOR A ROTARY PRESS
A rotary press comprising at least one pressing station having each of a vertically-adjustable upper and lower pressure roller, which are mounted by axes in the at least one pressing station. Cam-guided upper punches having punch heads are fed to the upper pressure roller by a control cam and a pull-up cam raises the upper punches to a highest point above a filling device. A vertically-adjustable safety cam is designed to be vertically adjustable in relation to the upper pressure roller. The rotary press may comprise a preliminary pressure cam, which is integrated in a guide block.
Modular clamping system
A modular clamping device for a tool or a workpiece includes: a pallet having a plurality of x-y references and a plurality of z references for alignment with a chuck and a clamping unit, which is arranged in a clamped state concentrically at an outside of the chuck. In the clamped state, a tubular part is arranged concentrically between the pallet and the clamping unit, the tubular part being connected to the pallet by a first connecting mechanism and connected to the clamping unit by a second connecting mechanism.
COMPRESSIVE TORSION FORMING DEVICE
A compressive torsion forming device for processing a processing material using a first die and a second die facing each other includes a sliding portion that includes a first hydraulic chamber, and slides in accordance with a change in internal pressure of the first hydraulic chamber so as to move the first die in a direction of an axis; a rotating table provided with the second die and rotatable about the axis; a table support portion provided opposite to the second die with the rotating table interposed therebetween in the direction of the axis; and a rotational bearing that rotatably supports the rotating table with respect to the table support portion, and receives a force acting on the rotating table in a direction from the second die toward the rotating table.
RIBBON IMPRESSER/INDENTER FOR PLASTIC CARDS
An impresser mechanism that is configured to create impressions on plastic cards. The impresser mechanism includes an anvil that is configured to resiliently support the plastic card while the impression is formed on the plastic card by a die. By resiliently supporting the plastic card while the impression is created, the resulting impression on the plastic card is substantially evened out.
Rotary tablet press with removable turret
The rotary tablet press comprises a machine base assembly and detachable module. Granulation is fed into the module from the hopper and travels into the feeder chamber. The base assembly comprises motorized pressure roll assemblies and a turret drive assembly. The detachable module comprises a module base, turret base, turret, cam body, cams, feeder, tablet discharge chute, hopper, upper enclosure, and guard doors. The rotary turret comprises upper punches, dies, and lower punches. As the turret rotates, the dies move underneath the feeder chamber. The rotary feeder paddles move the granulation and assist with feeding powder to the dies. Punches travel along cam tracks as the turret rotates and compresses the powder into a tablet when the punches contact the pressure rolls. An ejection cam pushes the lower punch in the upward direction and a take-off bar mounted just above the die table directs the tablet into a discharge chute. The detachable module is sealed by incorporating an upper enclosure.
Die arrangement
A die arrangement for pressing, sintering or stamping comprising: a die body with a cavity extending from an opening at a first end of said die body to an opening at a second end of said die body, and one or more moving parts arranged around the opening at said first end of said die body, wherein each moving part is displaceable between a first position and a second position. The die body may be configurable to receive a die plunger at said second end of said die body, said plunger being displaceable within the cavity. The die arrangement may further comprise an outer sleeve mounted on the die body, the outer sleeve being coaxial with the die body and having a first outer sleeve portion nearest to the first end of said die body, and one of: a second outer sleeve portion nearest to the second end of said die body; a second outer sleeve portion fixedly attached to the plunger base nearest to the second end of said die body; or, a second outer sleeve portion extending directly from the plunger base nearest to the second end of said die body, the second outer sleeve portion and the plunger base being a single unitary component.
Mechanical support tooling and/or mandrel for composite part curing
Example mechanical supports or mandrels are described for composite part curing. In one example, a mandrel includes a housing, and components within the housing and positioned to create a central opening. An expander is also positioned in the central opening, and the expander has a width that increases along a length of the expander. A narrow end of the expander is positioned in the central opening. An actuator is provided to move the expander into the central opening causing the components to expand the housing, and to retract the expander from the central opening causing the components to collapse the housing.
Set of interchangeable crimp units
The present invention relates to a set of interchangeable crimp units for a crimping machine. According to the invention each crimp unit comprises an integrated sensor for measuring a crimping force or a crimping displacement during the crimping process.
