An apparatus for the production of concrete molded parts in a molding machine includes an upper mold part having at least one pressure punch for transfer of a force to at least one pressure plate, wherein the pressure plate can be introduced into an opening of a mold insert in a lower mold part in the vertical direction, wherein the lower mold part is surrounded by a frame that has a guide connected with the upper mold part and configured so that, the lower mold part can be tilted from the vertical direction, relative to the upper mold part, during engagement of the pressure plates into the openings of the mold insert.

Alignment of plunger with gearbox in a baler

A system and method for aligning a compacting plunger of an agricultural square baler with respect to a gearbox for driving the compacting plunger. The method includes controlling a position of plunger rails on and against which the compacting plunger will move when the agricultural square baler is in operation, with respect to a position of a carrying beam adapted for carrying the gearbox. Controlling the position of the plunger rails with respect to the carrying beam adapted for carrying the gearbox rather than with respect to the side walls of the baler provides the advantage of reduced wearing and/or fractures of parts of the baler.

Radial press

A radial press is provided having a first and a second ring structure extending about a press axis. Multiple press bodies are arranged about the press axis between the ring structures and are movably supported on support surfaces paired with the ring structures. The axial distance between the two ring structures can be changed using a drive system having a plurality of actuators oriented parallel to the press axis and distributed about the press axis. The support surfaces paired with one of the two ring structures are inclined relative to the press axis, and the press bodies are guided in a forced manner relative to the two ring structures in that the press bodies are equipped with guide grooves into which guide bodies engage.

Guide system for a plunger of a rectangular baler

A rectangular baler including a bale chamber; a plunger; a guide system including a guide assembly for aligning and supporting the plunger in a transverse direction; each guide assembly including a mounting piece with a guide element, a threaded shaft; wherein the mounting piece has a mounting surface which is fixed against a guide surface of a member; the mounting piece and the member having an elongated slot and a through-hole, respectively, or a through-hole and an elongated slot, respectively; the threaded shaft extending through the through-hole and the elongated slot and having an axis making an angle with respect to the guide surface which is smaller than 90 degrees.

Outboard hydrostatic bearing assembly for can bodymaker

A hydrostatic/hydrodynamic fluid bearing assembly for a can bodymaker is provided. The hydrostatic/hydrodynamic fluid bearing assembly is separate from the ram body. The outboard bearing assembly includes a carriage assembly and a number of elongated journals. The carriage assembly includes a ram coupling, a crank coupling, and body defining a number of journal passages. The ram body is coupled to a ram coupling. The crank coupling is structured to be coupled to a crank arm. Each journal extends through a carriage assembly body journal passage. In this configuration, the ram body may form a can body in a traditional manner, but fluid bearing assembly fluid is not applied to the ram body. Instead the fluid bearing assembly fluid is applied to the journals.

Method for monitoring and for changing the position of at least one running bar of a metal press, and metal press
12383947 · 2025-08-12 · ·

A method for monitoring and changing the position of at least one component, more particularly a running bar, slidingly guided within a press frame between abutments of the press frame is disclosed. A central alignment of the component within the press frame is continuously measured and the alignment of the component within the press frame is corrected as a function of the acquired measurement result by preferably automatically adjustable guide elements of the sliding guides of the press. The central alignment of the slidingly guided component within the press frame is measured by the sensing of the location of at least one, preferably two, reference points of the slidingly guided component preferably in a plane extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal center axis of the press. A press having automatically adjustable guide elements and means for controlling the guide elements as a function of the measured position of the component.

Adjusting system for adjusting the guide play of a sliding guide for movable parts of a press, and method for adjusting the position of at least one sliding block of a sliding guide on a press
12391017 · 2025-08-19 · ·

An adjusting system for adjusting the guide play of a sliding guide for movable parts of a press has at least one guide element (1), which includes at least one sliding block (9), which can be moved transversely to the direction of movement of the part of the press to be guided, at least one adjusting wedge (5) and at least one guide wedge (8), the movement of which adjusting wedge and guide wedge relative to each other causes the sliding block (9) to be shifted perpendicularly to the direction of movement of the movable part. The adjusting system is characterized in that the adjusting wedge (5) is continuously adjustable by at least one spindle drive. The disclosure further relates to a method for adjusting the position of at least one sliding block of its sliding guide on a press having such an adjusting system.

Radial press

A radial press is provided having a first and a second ring structure which extend around a press axis and a plurality of pressing elements, which are disposed around the press axis and are translatably supported on supporting surfaces associated with the ring structures. The axial distance of the two ring structures from each other can be changed using a hydraulic drive system, which has a plurality of hydraulic cylinder-piston units oriented parallel to and distributed around the press axis, the cylinder of each cylinder-piston unit being coupled to a first of the two ring structures and the piston rod of each cylinder-piston unit being coupled to the second ring structure. At least the supporting surfaces associated with one of the two ring structures are oriented at an inclination with respect to the press axis. An electromechanical rapid adjustment drive comprising a plurality of adjusters is also provided.
