A press pad for a single level or multi-level hot press, the press pad comprising: a fabric made from two intersecting thread systems, wherein threads of a first thread system are respectively formed by a core thread and a cladding, wherein the cladding is made from an elastomer material and threads of a second thread system respectively include metal or are made from metal, wherein threads of the second thread system run in an alternating pattern over and under a group of adjacent threads of the first thread system wherein the group includes at least two directly adjacent and parallel threads, wherein groups that are separated from each other by at least one thread of the first thread system run on congruent paths or on paths that are displaced relative to each other in a thread longitudinal direction.

A hot press cushioning material includes a base material layer that is in the form of a plate and that contains fibers; and an end face seal covering an outer end face of the base material layer. The end face seal includes a heat resistant elastic body having penetrated the outer end face of the base material layer and a heat resistant resin attached to an outer surface of the heat resistant elastic body.

System and method for high-temperature lamination of printed circuit boards
A method of manufacturing a press pad is disclosed. The method includes: providing a planar pad having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface and a release film sheet, the release film sheet including a polyimide-based film; cleaning the planar pad, the cleaning including electrostatically removing particulates from surfaces of the planar pad; and attaching a release film sheet to the first surface of the planar pad, the release film sheet being attached to the first surface using an acrylic-based adhesive containing thermoplastic polyolefin and methyl acrylate.

A laminating apparatus and method of fabricating a display device are provided. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the laminating apparatus includes a first jig, which is configured to fix a window having curved surfaces, and a second jig, which includes a pressure pad facing the first jig. The pressure pad includes a top surface, which is convex toward the first jig, and depressed portions, which are inwardly depressed from side surfaces, respectively.
LAMINATING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF FABRICATING DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME
A laminating apparatus and method of fabricating a display device are provided. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the laminating apparatus includes a first jig, which is configured to fix a window having curved surfaces, and a second jig, which includes a pressure pad facing the first jig. The pressure pad includes a top surface, which is convex toward the first jig, and depressed portions, which are inwardly depressed from side surfaces, respectively.
Hot press cushioning material
A hot press cushioning material includes: a first nonwoven fabric forming an inner layer; and second nonwoven fabrics placed on both surfaces of the first nonwoven fabric and forming outer layers. Copolymerized para-aramid fibers having a basis weight of 80 to 400 g/m.sup.2 are used as a material of the second nonwoven fabrics. Fibers that are more rigid than the copolymerized para-aramid fibers are used as a material of the first nonwoven fabric. Each of the first nonwoven fabric and the second nonwoven fabrics has a heat resistant temperature of 270° C. or more.
