DIE CUSHION-CUM-SLIDE CUSHION DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
20170008061 · 2017-01-12 ·

A die cushion-cum-slide cushion device selectively opens and closes a flow channel between a hydraulic pump/motor driven by a servo motor, and hydraulic cylinders that generate slide cushion force, or a flow channel between the hydraulic pump/motor, and hydraulic cylinders that generate die cushion force, by switching a selector valve. Before applying the slide cushion force is started, the servo motor is controlled to allow the hydraulic cylinders to generate required slide cushion force through a check valve. While the slide cushion force is applied, hydraulic circuits, each of which includes a logic valve, control pressure of the hydraulic cylinders, and hydraulic circuits, each of which includes the servo motor, control die cushion pressure of the hydraulic cylinders.

DIE CUSHION CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD AND DIE CUSHION APPARATUS

A compression spring model included in a processor in the die cushion control apparatus refers to a load characteristic curve of a compression spring when assuming that a hydraulic cylinder is a compression spring, generates a cushion load command in accordance with a spring constant and a deflection amount of a compression spring and generates a control command based on a deviation between the generated cushion load command and an actual cushion load. In accordance with the control command, the drive motor and the hydraulic pump are driven, and an upward load is generated on the cushion pin by the hydraulic cylinder. Thus, even when the cushion pin rises due to a setting error or the like for the press die height, the cushion load command decreases in accordance with the deflection amount of the compression spring and inhibits an abnormal pushing-up action of the cushion pin.

Crafting Pad

A crafting pad may include an enclosure portion and a multi-layered composite portion. The enclosure portion defines an enclosure pocket and the multi-layered composite portion is retained in the enclosure pocket, according to various embodiments. The crafting pad is generally configured to facilitate heat transfer from a heat press to a workpiece operably engaged against the crafting pad.

An apparatus for pressurizing a battery includes: a plurality of pressurization plates configured to pressurize a plurality of battery cells interposed between the pressurization plates; a buffering pad interposed between one of the pressurization plates and one of the battery cells, the buffering pad comprising foamed silicon; and a pressure adjustment part configured to adjust pressure between the pressurization plates by adjusting a distance between the pressurization plates.

Press device

A press device having a cradle, a base plate, a fracturing device, an actuator, a switch, and a body. The base plate is located at a first end of the cradle. The fracturing device is proximally located at a second end of the cradle. The cradle is adapted to work in communication with the base plate to maintain alignment between the baseplate and the fracturing device. The actuator is proximally located to the second end of the cradle. The switch is operably connecting the actuator to the fracturing device. The body holds the cradle, base plate, fracturing device, actuator driven ram, and switch. The preferred embodiment uses a hydraulic ram.

Laminating apparatus, and vacuum laminating device and flat press laminating device used therefor

Disclosed is a laminating apparatus capable of suppressing the generation of voids in a resulting laminate and manufacturing a laminate with improved flatness, including a vacuum laminating device and a first flat press laminating device. The vacuum laminating device includes a pair of plate blocks, and a base material and resin are pressed between the plate blocks. The plate block which is movable forwardly and backwardly includes an elastic pressing plate and a buffer material, and the buffer material has a multi-layer structure comprised of not less than three layers including a fiber layer and a rubber layer. A pressing force against the base material and the resin between the pair of plate blocks is set in the range of 2.5 to 3.97 MPa per 500 mm square area.
