Press for producing dimensionally stable preforms and production process
The invention relates to a press for producing dimensionally stable preforms from material that is substantially in the form of a powder, in particular iron powder and or ceramic powder, with a tool comprising an upper die and a lower die, wherein the upper die and the lower die respectively comprise at least one die, wherein a first die and a second die are arranged together, one sliding in the other, as the upper die or lower die and respectively have a first end and a second end, lying opposite the first end, wherein at least one of the two dies spreads out along one portion to such an extent that the second end thereof has a width that at least approaches an outer diameter of a die holder associated with the second end. This allows presses of a compact form to be made available for producing dimensionally stable preforms of high quality and great complexity.
AGRICULTURAL BALER WITH FRAMELESS AND WELDLESS PLUNGER
A plunger for an agricultural baler includes: a plurality of plunger sections held together to form the plunger, the plurality of plunger sections including a pair of plunger end sections, each of the plunger sections including at least one tube holding portion having a tube opening formed therein; at least one of at least one roller or at least one sliding block attached to and extending laterally from each of the plunger end sections; and a tube placed within the tube opening of each tube holding portion such that an interference fit is formed between the tube and the at least one tube holding portion of each plunger section to hold the plunger sections together.
Powder press having a cone-shaped substructure
The invention relates to a powder press, comprising a tool structure, which has a conical substructure having lower rams nested in each other, wherein each lower ram has a longitudinal extent, in particular a cylindrical longitudinal extent, which is guided in a die, wherein, in the case of at least two longitudinal extents of the lower rams, each longitudinal extent is adjoined by a conical enlargement, wherein the conical enlargements can be guided in each other, wherein the region of the conical enlargement has an inner wall and an outer wall, which expand conically and which are preferably longer than the longitudinal extent. The invention further relates to a method for operating a powder press and to a computer program product having computer program code means that can be executed on a computer system in order to perform the method.
METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY PRODUCING INDIVIDUALIZED TABLETS, AND TABLET PRESS FOR AUTOMATICALLY PRODUCING INDIVIDUALIZED TABLETS
A tablet press for producing tablets including: a press chamber, a receiving chamber, a first material container having the first active substance with a first dosing device, a controller, and an input device. The press chamber has an extendable upper punch, an extendable lower punch, and a die. The input device inputs a target indicating a number of produced tablets and a target mass indicating a quantity of the first active substance and transmits the target number and the target mass to the controller. The controller actuates the first dosing device, the upper punch, and the lower punch such that a quantity of the first active substance that corresponds to the target mass is filled into a central opening of the die and pressed by the punches to form a tablet, and to repeat until the target number of tablets are produced.
METHODS OF, AND APPARATUSES FOR, METAL FORMING
A method for material forming, by means of a movable impact head and tool combination and a drive unit includes moving the drive unit to provide kinetic energy to the impact head and tool combination, for the impact head and tool combination to strike a work material, so as to form the work material. A return movement of the movable impact head and tool combination, away from the work material, after the strike of the work material by the impact head and tool combination, is dampened.
Beverage Brewing Cartridge and Method of Constructing a Beverage Brewing Cartridge
A beverage brewing cartridge includes a base including a sidewall having first and second open ends and a cover sealed to a rim of the first open end, and a plug configured to be inserted into the second open end. The cartridge is configured to hold beverage brewing material when the plug is inserted. The cover is configured to be breached to allow pressurized liquid to enter the cartridge to brew a beverage. The plug includes weakened areas configured to open after the pressurized liquid enters the cartridge to allow the beverage to flow from the cartridge. A method of constructing the cartridge includes placing the base in a holder, inserting a portion of brewing material into the base through the second open sidewall end, tamping the brewing material in the base through the second open sidewall end, and inserting the plug into the second open sidewall end.
Rosin press system
Described is a rosin press system for extract rosin (oil) from plant material. The rosin press system includes a cone-shaped male plate and a cone-shaped female plate formed to matingly receive the cone-shaped male plate. The plates can be heated such that when plant material is pressed between the plates, rosin is pressed from the plant material and allowed to drain from a drain hole positioned at the bottom of the cone-shaped female plate.
PRESS RAM FOR A FINE BLANKING PRESS
A press ram for a fine blanking press comprises a ram plate section configured to carry a fine blanking tool and at least two guide sections positioned on opposing sides of the ram plate section. The ram plate section comprises an upper surface, a lower surface, and two opposing side surfaces. The at least two guide sections of the ram plate section are configured to guide movement of the press ram relative to a press frame during a fine blanking process. The at least two guide sections extend in a vertical direction to a level that is higher than the upper side of the ram plate section.
Rotary press having rams with at least two height-staggered ram tips for carrying out a plurality of pressing operations during a rotation
The invention relates to a rotary press having height-staggered ram tips for carrying out at least two pressing operations, which preferably build on one another. Furthermore, the invention relates particularly to rotary presses and methods for producing multi-layer and coating-core tablets and for pressing tablets into cups during a rotation.
Method of constructing an espresso cartridge
A bottom fillable espresso cartridge base and apparatus and method for filling and plugging the bottom of the espresso cartridge base. The espresso cartridge base includes an open bottom and a press in bottom plug. The top of the espresso cartridge may be sealed by a foil lid or the like, or be open and an adhesive attachable lid may be included for attachment by a user. A first method utilizes a hand held multi-function tool including a cartridge holder with a holder lid to capture the espresso cartridge, and a bottom tamper and plug seating arm. A second method utilizes a stationary base residing on a flat surface, a cartridge holder to retain cartridges on the base, and individual tools to fill and tamp brewing material in the cartridge, and to attach the bottom plug to the cartridge.
