SINGLE FACE TUBE DIE-CUT AND SHEET PROCESS
A system comprises a corrugator single facer configured to receive a first web and a second web, to corrugate the first web and adhere the first web in a corrugated state to the second web in an uncorrugated state to form a single face corrugated web as output. The system also includes a folder gluer operatively connected to receive the single face corrugated web from the corrugated single facer. The folder gluer is configured to fold and adhere the single-face corrugated web into a tube.
Method And System For Forming Articles
A method or press-forming a construct. The method can comprise obtaining a forming tool comprising at least a punch and a cavity part. The cavity part at least partially defines a cavity and comprises a plurality of ports in fluid communication with the cavity. The method further includes positioning a moisturized paperboard packaging material between the punch and the cavity, and press-forming the moisturized paperboard packaging material into the construct by moving the punch and the cavity part together so that the punch is at least partially received in the cavity with the moisturized paperboard packaging material pressed therebetween. The method also includes removing moisturizing fluid in the cavity released by the moisturized paperboard packaging material during press-forming via the plurality of ports in the cavity part.
Method For Producing A Recess In A Packaging Piece From A Leaf Material Of A Plant
The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a recess in a packaging piece from a leaf material of a plant, comprising the following steps: providing a three-dimensionally shaped packaging piece from a leaf material of a plant; providing a negative mould with respect to the inner surface of the packaging piece, wherein the negative mould has a recess; placing the packaging piece onto the negative mould in such a way that the inner surface of the packaging piece abuts on the outer surface of the negative mould and the packaging piece is held on the negative mould using a punch which presses the packaging piece onto the negative mould, wherein the packaging piece covers the recess of the negative mould; and displacing a cutting tool from outside the packaging piece through the leaf material of the packaging piece into the recess of the negative mould, so that a recess in the packaging piece is produced, whereby the negative mould-supports the packaging piece when producing the recess in the packaging piece. Furthermore, a three-dimensionally shaped packaging piece and a packaging for an article are disclosed.
Stamping apparatus
A stamping apparatus configured to stamp a material configured as a flat paper or cardboard web, the stamping apparatus including a machine frame; an upper part including at least one upper stamping tool configured as a male die; and a lower part including at least one lower stamping tool configured as a female die wherein the upper part is arranged movable in a linear manner relative to the machine frame, wherein the lower part is fixed at the machine frame, wherein an intermediary space is provided between the male die and the female die, wherein the material to be stamped is movable through the intermediary space in a direction perpendicular to a direction of a relative movement between the upper part and the lower part, wherein the material to be stamped is stampable by the relative movement between the upper part and the lower part.
PAPER CUTTING AND CREASING EQUIPMENT BASED ON SYNCHRONOUS COMBINATION OF CONVEX AND CONCAVE CAMS
Disclosed is a paper cutting and creasing equipment based on synchronous combination of convex and concave cams, including a rack and a paper pressing system, where a groove is formed in a center of the paper pressing system; and a first synchronous belt entering the groove, where the first synchronous belt is arranged below paper, the first synchronous belt is also provided with a through hole, a first linear advancing part is arranged above the paper pressing system, and a second linear advancing part is arranged below the paper pressing system. The first linear advancing part is equipped with a first creasing carriage, and the original single-sided creasing of packaging paper from above is changed to double-sided creasing of packaging paper through the cooperation of a convex cam and a concave cam, thereby preventing microcracks on the back side of the packaging paper and even surface peeling.
METHOD AND TOOL FOR PRODUCING A BREAKABLE WEAK POINT IN MOLDED BODIES MADE OF FIBER-CONTAINING MATERIAL AND MOLDED BODIES MADE OF FIBER-CONTAINING MATERIAL HAVING A BREAKABLE WEAK POINT
A method for producing a breakable weak point in molded bodies made of fiber-containing material is described. Further, a tool for producing a breakable weak point in molded bodies made of fiber-containing material is described. A molded body made of fiber-containing material is also described. The molded body has at least one surface portion that has at least one region with a breakable weak point.
Presser assembly with magnetic biasing
A presser assembly is provided for supporting a carton blank. The presser assembly includes a housing having a cavity formed therein. A presser plunger is telescopically received in the housing. The presser plunger is slidable between a first retracted position wherein the presser plunger is at least substantially received with the cavity in the housing and an extended position wherein the presser plunger projects from the open end of the housing. A magnetic biasing structure urges the presser plunger toward the extended position.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR WEB-FED DRY FORMING OF FIBER-BASED PRODUCTS
Disclosed are methods and systems for production of fiber-based, plastic-free products are produced by a web-fed dry forming process. In some embodiments, a method of manufacturing a paper-based packaging product includes conditioning a paper web to optimize a moisture content of the paper web and to treat the paper web with at least one additive to form a conditioned paper web; and dry molding the conditioned paper web under one or both of heat and pressure to produce a plurality of finished paper-based packaging products. The at least one additive includes a stearate additive.
Methods and systems for producing pressware
A system for forming a pressware product from a web of a roll of material includes a positive mold, a negative mold, a heating element, an actuator, a force sensor, and a control system. The positive mold forms a top surface of the pressware product. The negative mold forms a bottom surface of the pressware product. The heating element is coupled to the positive mold or the negative mold. The actuator shifts the positive mold or the negative mold to cut and form the pressware product in a single stroke. The force sensor detects the forming force applied by the actuator, and the control system directs the actuator to adjust the forming force.
