Plant for automated packaging of items in cardboard boxes
11279503 · 2022-03-22 ·

A plant for automated packaging of items in cardboard boxes includes a forming station of open sheet boxes starting from a cardboard web, an item introduction system, a box closing station, and a feeding system. A cutting and creasing system at the forming station produces a longitudinal elongate element defining the bottom and top walls and a first pair of side walls of the box, and transverse panels providing the second pair of side walls. A first gluing system bonds the transverse panels to the elongate element by applying hot-melt strips on the side edges of the elongate element, and a pair of suction-cup manipulators applies the transverse panels on the elongate element at the glue strips to obtain a cross-shaped blank. The closing station includes a folding and automatic gluing system that folds and bonds the side walls and the top wall of the box to produce finished packages.

PLASTIC CORRUGATED CONTAINER WITH SOFT SCORE LINE
20210237958 · 2021-08-05 ·

A box formed from a plastic corrugated material with soft score lines is provided. The soft score lines are formed to enable the top flaps of the box to lay substantially flat against the outer surface of the box when folded to an open position.

Balanced process for extrusion of plastic corrugated sheet and subsequent converting into plastic boxes
11072140 · 2021-07-27 · ·

The invention is directed to a balanced process for extrusion of a plastic corrugated sheet or blanks, and subsequent converting of the blanks into plastic boxes. The process includes conveying the blanks to a plurality of forming stations for incrementally forming features on the blank needed for forming a box. The present process is performed at a slower speed than typical paper corrugated forming.

Container with non-squared edges

Container for consumer articles, the container being at least partially formed from a laminar blank (100), the laminar blank defining a portion of the container, which includes: a first planar wall (101); a second planar wall (102) connected to the first planar wall by a first modified edge portion (104); and a third planar wall (103) connected to the first planar wall by a second modified edge portion (105). The first modified edge portion is defined by an ablation area, on its inner surface, having one or more ablated lines (201-206) each having a residual thickness less than the thickness (T) of the laminar blank, the first modified edge portion an end portion tapering from a width (W) of the first portion to a point at the junction with the second modified edge portion. The second modified edge portion is defined by a plurality of creasing lines (300).

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING CUTTING-CREASING RULES OF DIE-CUTTERS
20210170620 · 2021-06-10 ·

A method and apparatus which allow cutting-creasing rules (1) for die-cutters to be obtained from sections of cutting rules and sections of creasing rules are described. In particular, the method comprises: ⋅ (a) from a cutting rule (13) for die-cutters having height H, separating sections (2′, 2″, 2′″) provided with a cutting edge (4) and provided with coupling means (9, 10) to obtain an interlocked coupling (8) with other sections (3′, 3″, 3′″) of a creasing rule (14), ⋅ (b) from a creasing rule (14) for die-cutters having height H′, separating sections (3′, 3″, 3′″) provided with a creasing profile (5) and provided with coupling means (11, 12) to obtain an interlocked coupling (8) with other sections (2′, 2″, 2′″) of a cutting rule (13) ⋅ (c) coupling in succession the sections (2′, 2″, 2′″) of the cutting rule (13) to the sections (3′, 3″, 3′″) of the creasing rule (14) until the cutting-creasing rule (1) is obtained, the steps (a) and (b) are not carried out by tools different from each other for the cutting rule (13) and the creasing rule (14), but by the same shearing tool.

A METHOD OF CREASING SHEETS
