METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF CARTONS
A method to accomplish manufacturing of cartons, that supports the objective to decrease relatively large volumes of unnecessary air shipped, and to standardise size aspects of raw material so that logistics of raw material use for cartons and carton manufacturing process can be optimized. The method comprise steps from the retrieval of measurements for intended content to be closed, to calculating required width and length of standardized sized carton pieces having width dimensions based on geometrical series 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, and then cutting and re-join cardboard pieces edge to edge by an adhesive, to assemble a carton piece that matches a calculated required cardboard size for further forming and folding of a cardboard box, as described by the method, with minimal loss of carton material.
INSULATED BOX ASSEMBLY WITH OVERLAPPING PANELS
Disclosed is a box assembly including an exterior piece comprising a middle portion, and an upper portion joined to the middle portion; and an interior piece positioned within the exterior piece, the interior piece defining a cavity and comprising a side panel, the side panel comprising a top interior portion, the side panel and the middle portion of the exterior piece defining a space therebetween, the upper portion of the exterior piece covering the space and the top interior portion of the side panel, and a bottom panel joined to the side panel.
INSULATED BOX ASSEMBLY WITH OVERLAPPING PANELS
A method of assembling a box assembly, comprising: folding an exterior piece from a flat configuration to a three-dimensional configuration defining a cavity, the exterior piece comprising a plurality of middle portions and a plurality of upper portions joined to the middle portions by fold lines; folding an interior piece from a flat configuration to a three-dimensional configuration defining a cavity, the interior piece comprising a bottom panel and a plurality of side panels; inserting the interior piece into the exterior piece to define a space between the middle portions of the exterior piece and the side panels of the interior piece; and folding the upper portions of the exterior piece to cover the space.
BOX INSERT WITH VERTICAL RAILS
A box assembly comprising a box defining an interior, the interior defining a bottom interior wall and a side interior wall connected to the bottom interior, and an insert for the box, the insert comprising a center segment configured to cover the bottom interior wall, and a rail joined to the center segment, the rail configured to cover the side interior wall.
Carrier for Containers
A carrier for holding a plurality of containers includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carrier, the plurality of panels includes a front panel, a back panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel. The carrier also includes a central partition that divides the carrier into a front portion and a back portion, with each of the front portion and the back portion having at least one divider flap to divide the front portion and the back portion into respective compartments for receiving a respective article. The carrier also includes a plurality of reinforcement flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels, the plurality of reinforcement flaps includes at least one divider reinforcement flap reinforcing the at least one divider flap.
Carrier With Reconfigurable Partition
A carrier for holding a plurality of containers includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carrier and including a front panel, a back panel, at least one side panel, and a central panel extending from the front panel to the back panel. The central panel includes a reconfigurable lower portion that is positionable between respective bottom portions of adjacent containers of the plurality of containers. The carrier also includes a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels, the plurality of end flaps are at least partially overlapped to form a closed bottom of the carrier.
CASE FORMER WITH CASE-SQUARING ASSEMBLY
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a case former configured to receive a case in a blank configuration, open the case into a tubular configuration, fold the lower minor flaps to manipulate the case into a partially closed-bottom configuration, square the case while in the partially dosed-bottom configuration, and fold and tape the lower major flaps shut to manipulate the case into a closed-bottom configuration. The squaring step ensures that the case has a rectangular cross-section after taping rather than a rhomboid cross-section.
Carrier For Containers
A carrier for holding one or more articles. The carrier can comprise a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carrier and a bottom wall extending along the interior of the carrier. The bottom wall can comprise a first locking member and a second locking member, wherein the first locking member and the second locking member engage one another to form the bottom wall. The first locking member can comprise a first bottom panel and a first bottom flap in an at least partially overlapping relationship, and the second locking member can comprise a second bottom panel and a second bottom flap in an at least partially overlapping relationship. The carrier further can comprise a central wall foldably connected to one or more panels of the plurality of panels.
BOX ERECTING METHOD AND SYSTEM
A method and a system for erecting boxes from box templates of different sizes, said method comprising the steps of: adjusting a size of a frame (5; 105) according to a size of a box template (3; 103) which should be erected; wrapping the box template (3; 103) to be erected around the frame (5; 105); and separating the frame (5; 105) from the box template.
SHIPPERS WITH AIR CELLS
A container includes a plurality of panels connected together at fold lines configured for extending at least partially around an interior space, including a front panel, a first side panel, a back panel and a second side panel. A plurality of end flaps are included, each end flap foldably connected to a respective one of the panels. The end flaps are overlapped with one another to enclose an end of the interior space. An air cell flap is foldably connected to at least one of the end flaps and/or one of the panels, wherein the air cell flap is within the interior space and is inwardly offset from the end flaps to define an air cell between the air cell flap and the end flaps to protect product within the interior space.
