Substance inhalation system and method
A stand-alone chamber or multi-chamber inhalation system has at least two alternative vaporized test liquid supply systems for passive or self-administered delivery of vaporized test fluid and air to one or more test chambers, which can be passive or restraint chambers, based on operator selection of delivery on and off times in a passive mode or actuation of an actuator in the chamber by a test animal in a self-administered mode. In one case, a multiple inhalation chamber system has two or more separate test fluid delivery systems and provides options for selective passive uniform drug delivery to multiple chambers or selective delivery of two or more different drugs to different groups of chambers from different delivery systems so that two different drugs or different concentrations of delivered drugs can be tested simultaneously.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSOCIATING MUSIC WITH BRAIN-STATE DATA
A system and method may be provided for associating bio-signal data (e.g. EEG brain scan data) from at least one user with at least one music data item (e.g. song, or piece of music). By associating bio-signal data, or emotions determined therefrom, with music, the system may establish a data store of music associated with emotions. That database may then be leveraged upon determining that a user is feeling a particular emotion through an EEG scan. When a particular emotion is detected in EEG data of a user, the system may then respond based at least partly on the same or similar emotion being associated with one or more music data items in the system. For example, the system may recommend a particular song associated with the same emotion presently being experienced by the user.
SUBSTANCE INHALATION SYSTEM AND METHOD

Mobile oxygen point of use apparatus
A mobile oxygen point of use apparatus includes a standalone and portable mounting panel having a first side and a second side and is configured to be portably relocated within a facility by at least one human operator. A first set of oxygen flow regulators are mounted on the first side of the mounting panel and have multiple first oxygen inputs and multiple first oxygen outputs. A second set of oxygen flow regulators are mounted on the second side of the mounting panel and have multiple second oxygen inputs and multiple second oxygen outputs. A low pressure oxygen input is mounted on the mounting panel and a single pipeline or hose is configured to be connected from the low pressure oxygen input to a source of oxygen. Distribution plumbing connects the low pressure oxygen input to the multiple first oxygen inputs and the multiple second oxygen inputs.
Flow switching valve and method of use in ventilating multiple patients with a single ventilator
An airflow switching valve allowing a single ventilator to sequentially ventilate multiple patients, each patient being ventilated through a respiratory cycle. The airflow switching valve includes an outer housing, an inner housing, and a spring. Each of the outer and inner housings have a plurality of apertures that, when aligned in different positions, direct airflow to different patients. The inner housing rotates within the outer housing into different positions. The rotational movement is guided by a track of the outer housing. Extensions on the inner housing engage the track of the outer housing and translate along the track, thereby directing the movement of the inner housing between varying positions. Movement of the inner housing is initiated by either a spring force caused by the spring of the airflow switching valve or by air pressure caused by an inspiratory breath flowing into the airflow switching valve from the ventilator.
Systems and methods for ambulatory generation of nitric oxide
Systems and methods are provided for portable and compact nitric oxide (NO) generation that can be embedded into other therapeutic devices or used alone. In some embodiments, an ambulatory NO generation system can be comprised of a controller and disposable cartridge. The cartridge can contain filters and scavengers for preparing the gas used for NO generation and for scrubbing output gases prior to patient inhalation. The system can utilize an oxygen concentrator to increase nitric oxide production and compliment oxygen generator activity as an independent device. The system can also include a high voltage electrode assembly that is easily assembled and installed. Various nitric oxide delivery methods are provided, including the use of a nasal cannula.
VIDEO CONFERENCE IMAGE-BASED SOCIAL ANXIETY TREATMENT SYSTEM USING BIOFEEDBACK AND EXPOSURE THERAPY, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM HAVING, RECORDED THEREON, PROGRAM FOR EXECUTING METHOD FOR SAME
Disclosed are a video conference image-based social anxiety treatment system using biofeedback and exposure therapy, and a recording medium having, recorded thereon, a program for executing a method for same. According to an embodiment of the inventive concept, a social anxiety treatment system includes an anxiety level measurement unit that measures an anxiety level of a subject, which is a target of social anxiety treatment, while the subject performs a speech task through a video conference, a video conference image provision unit that provides the subject with video conference images including a participant connected to and participating in the video conference and a virtual participant prepared in advance, and an exposure therapy level adjustment unit that adjusts an exposure therapy level according to the anxiety level of the subject, which changes according to the video conference images.
Sleep pod
Introduced are methods and systems for a sleep pod. An occupant of a sleep pod can have a personalized sleeping experience based on an analysis of biological signals, environmental characteristics, occupant history, and other factors.
REMOTE RESPIRATORY THERAPY DEVICE MANAGEMENT
A system and method for updating patient devices is disclosed. The patient devices may include respiratory therapy devices that operate in accordance with instruction sets, such as software or firmware. A server may maintain a database of configuration data indicating the versions of the software and firmware that is currently installed on the patient devices. The server may also transmit updated instructions from over a network, including a wireless network. Particular patient devices may be selected for updating based on the configuration data. Upon performing an update a patient device may transmit configuration data to the server.
