The package includes sidewall panels, at least one first platform panel configured to support at least one first consumer product within the package, at least one foot panel that is at least partially positioned under the at least one first platform panel to support at least one portion of the at least one first platform panel, and a tear-off section defined by at least a lower end of the package.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING CASE AND CARTON BLANKS
A system and method for forming knock-down blanks from die-cut flat blanks used for forming shipping cartons or cases, comprising positioning a flat blank in a forming device, wherein the flat blank has four panels each with a middle portion, a top flap hingeably connected to the middle portion and a bottom flap hingeably connected to the middle portion, wherein the fourth panel has a tab formed on the outer edge of its middle portion, wherein the forming device includes a first mechanically operated arm and a second mechanically operated arm, wherein the first arm contacts the first panel, and wherein the second arm contacts the fourth panel; applying adhesive to the tab; and using the first and second arms to fold the first and fourth panels 180° inward, wherein the adhesive on the tab joins the first and fourth panels together.
FOLDED PACKAGE AND METHOD OF FORMATION
The technology described herein generally relates to particular form of folded package and the method of forming that folded package. More particularly, using a folding tip and the application of vacuum pressure to a paper cone it is possible to achieve the formation of properly folded packages that may further include a core that is deposited axially along the length of the package.

FRONT FLAP LIFTING MECHANISM
A lifting apparatus for a case on a conveyor system. A chain vertically hangs over a conveyor belt. A hook is positioned on an end of the chain. A piston retracts and releases the chain. The hook interacts with and moves front flaps on cases traveling on the conveyor system.
PACKAGING APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR FORMING FILLED CONES
The technology described herein generally relates to an automated packaging apparatus and system that packages loose particles into a conical container as well as the final packed containers. More specifically, loose plant matter, such as crumbled dried leaves, are supplied to successive paper cones. The apparatus provides a system for reliably and accurately depositing or injecting a fluid into a cone packed with loose particulate.

HANDLING OF CARDBOARD BLANKS
A device for handling cardboard blanks comprises an erecting device with a plurality of engagement elements. The erecting device is configured to transition from a receiving configuration to a forming configuration. The erecting device is configured to move at least several of the engagement elements to transition from the receiving configuration to the forming configuration. In the receiving configuration, the erecting device is configured to receive a group of cardboard blanks each having a bottom region and side regions connected to the bottom region. The engagement elements are configured to erect the side regions of the cardboard blanks when the erecting device transitions from the receiving configuration to the forming configuration. The erecting device is configured to move the bottom regions of the cardboard blanks relative to each other when transitioning from the receiving configuration to the forming configuration.
