MANUFACTURING A PACKAGING CONTAINER FROM FIBER-CONTAINING MATERIAL
In a method for manufacturing a packaging container, a web of material including a fiber-containing material is conveyed through a preforming station and through a forming station. In the preforming station, a forming region of the web of material is preformed by cooperation of a preforming die upper part with a preforming die lower part, the forming region being deformed between the preforming die upper part and the preforming die lower part during the preforming. In the forming station, a packaging depression is formed in the preformed forming region by cooperation of a forming die upper part with a forming die lower part, wherein the preformed forming region is deformed between the forming die upper part and the forming die lower part during forming.
Injection-molded composite construct
A frame is injection molded onto a group of panels to form a container. The panels extend at least partially around, and at least partially define, a cavity of the container.
Meat Tray
A meat tray sized and shaped to support raw meat is provided. The meat tray is composed of a paperboard material. The meat tray may include a generally planar base extending to a sidewall that extends transversely from the planar base to an angled outer transition which forms an outer periphery of a tray cavity. A rim of the meat tray is located at a terminus of the angled outer transition and extends away from the cavity. The rim may include an outer arcuate rim portion that extends and curves away from the outer transition and a planar flange extending from the outer arcuate rim portion and terminates at an edge. The edge faces downwardly with respect to the outer arcuate rim portion.
PAPERBOARD BOTTOM BLANK SHAPING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SHAPING A PAPERBOARD BOTTOM BLANK
A cylindrical punch head (2) includes a punch face (3) and a side surface (4). The punch face extends in a radial direction about an axis of the punch head. The side surface extends in an axial direction of the punch head about a periphery of the punch face. The side surface defines a plurality of grooves (6). Each groove extends in the axial direction of the punch head. A method for shaping a paperboard bottom blank to shape a peripheral skirt portion about a periphery of the paperboard bottom blank using the cylindrical punch head.
PROCESS FOR MAKING A CONTAINER OF A GIVEN SHAPE FROM SHEET MATERIAL
Process for obtaining a container of a given shape starting from sheet material, by providing a sheet; providing a mould having a forming cavity, which defines a reference axis (R) and has a shape corresponding to the given shape of the container; positioning the sheet over forming cavity; providing a forming device having forming structure arranged on a side of the sheet opposite the forming cavity, and operating the structure for inserting the sheet into the forming cavity to deform it until a container blank is obtained having a shape approximating the given shape; and blowing a gas under pressure into the forming cavity to deform the container blank until the container with the given shape is obtained.
Injection-molded composite construct
A frame is injection molded onto a group of panels to form a container. The panels extend at least partially around, and at least partially define, a cavity of the container.
MACHINE FOR ERECTING LINERLESS CARTONS
A method of erecting a carton from a blank, including: engaging the blank with a punch head against which the carton is formed, folding side portions of the blank against the punch head to form sides of the carton; folding outer portions of the side portions of the blank away from the punch head and against an external side of the carton; folding end portions of the blank against the punch head to form end portions of the carton; folding outer portions of the end portions of the blank away from the punch head and against an external end of the carton; and securing corner gussets formed between the side and end portions against sides or ends of the carton.
FLEXIBLE PAPER STRAW
A flexible paper straw includes a paper tube which is a spiral tube having a tube wall with at least two layers and formed by using glue and paper material while the paper material is paper sheet material having at least two layers of paper, a first layer of paper and a second layer of paper; and a compressed corrugated portion which is a circular tube having parallel ridges and grooves on longitudinal sections thereof, formed on the tube wall of a part of the paper tube with a certain length and able to be bent freely.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PRODUCING PRESSWARE
A system for forming a pressware product comprises rollers, a scoring tool, a scoring station actuator, a forming tool, and a forming station actuator. The rollers pull the web along a path having an angle. The scoring tool receives the material from the rollers and includes a vertically shiftable scoring punch with an edge that extends about an outline of the pressware product and a striker plate. The scoring station actuator shifts the scoring tool to form a slot in the web. The forming tool receives the scored web and includes a vertically shiftable positive mold assembly and negative mold assembly. The forming station actuator shifts the positive mold assembly to press against the web and form the pressware product.
Method and system for processing blanks for forming constructs
A method of processing a blank for forming a construct includes obtaining the blank, the blank including a flexible material and is for being formed into a construct. The method also includes moving the blank in a downstream direction on a first guide and a second guide, and pressing an interior region of the blank with a shaping apparatus in a direction transverse to the machine direction as the blank moves in the downstream direction and as a peripheral region of the blank is engaged by at least one shaping bracket.
