An apparatus for manufacturing a sleeve for a paper cup and/or a paper cup comprises a machine frame and at least two star wheels, which are rotatably connected with the machine frame and which can be rotated in synchronized cycles. A first star wheel comprises a number of conical mandrels, on each of which one sleeve made of a flat-lying blank can be formed. The star wheels are positioned in one plane and are arranged to a vertical wall of the machine frame with horizontal rotary axes. The star wheels can be connected to at least one drive, whereby the drive is arranged on the side of the machine frame wall facing away from the star wheels.
RIM FLATTENER APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus for forming an upper edge of a paperboard container includes a pocket including a shell having a cavity with a mouth configured to receive the container along an axis such that the rim extends beyond the mouth. A workstation includes a forming member having a first forming surface which is actuatable toward the axis from a retracted position spaced from the rim to an extended position lying adjacent an upper end of the rim, and a forming segment having a second forming surface which is actuatable along the axis and the forming member in response to axial movement thereof such that the second forming surface is positioned spaced from a lower end of the rim. The second forming surface is actuatable along the axis towards the first forming surface to form the rim therebetween.
MODULAR DATA CENTER
A modular data center includes a controller; a data center control system configured to collect data center data associated with the modular data center via communication with one of the controller and a plurality of sensors; and a data module connected to a power supply source. The power supply source includes at least one of a power grid, a backup power source and a power module. The power module includes electronics equipment for conditioning and distributing power to the one or more data modules. The data module includes a first enclosure defining a first internal space; and a first sensor in the plurality of sensors. The first sensor is in communication with at least one of the controller and the data center control system. A second sensor in the plurality of sensors is in communication with the power supply source.
A PRESSING MODULE FOR FORMING CELLULOSE PRODUCTS AND A METHOD FOR FORMING CELLULOSE PRODUCTS
A pressing module and method for forming cellulose products from an air-formed cellulose blank structure, where the pressing module comprises a forming mould with a first mould part and a second mould part configured for interacting with each other for forming the cellulose products from the air-formed cellulose blank structure in the forming mould. The first mould part and/or the second mould part are movably arranged relative to each other in a pressing direction parallel to a longitudinal direction of the pressing module. The first mould part and the second mould part are at least partly configured for being arranged in an overlapping relationship in the longitudinal direction during forming of the cellulose products. The first mould part comprises a first mould part section and a second mould part section arranged in connection to the first mould part section.
Method and Device for Thermal Activation of Packaging Sleeves
A method and device for thermal activation of tube-shaped packaging sleeves made of cardboard/plastic composite material, wherein a hot gas is applied to the tube-shaped packaging sleeve by a heating device in order to produce the base or the head of the packaging. To achieve even heating for the activation of the contact surfaces with production using simple construction, wherein the energy required for the activation process is used as completely as possible for the heating of the surfaces to be activated, the heating device is placed into effective contact with the surfaces to be activated by the heating device being moved inside the tube-shaped packaging sleeves for activation. The heating device has at least one nozzle element with an outlet opening, the external shape of which nozzle element corresponds to the internal shape of the end of the tube-shaped packaging sleeve to be activated.
Container, Method of Making a Container, and Apparatus for Manufacturing a Container
A container that comprises an outer shell and an inner pouch. The outer shell is made of a paperboard material and it comprises a side wall and a base element, the side wall including a main body portion, a neck portion, and a tapered or curved shoulder portion. The inner pouch is secured to a fitment, and is supported within the shell by the fitment engaged with the neck portion of the shell so that the pouch extends into the main body portion of the shell. The side wall is formed from a single blank that is formed from a flat sheet of paperboard and that includes a single main body panel and a plurality of neck panels extending from the main body panel.
APPARATUS FOR MOULDING AN OBJECT WITH A MATERIAL DERIVED FROM NATURAL FIBRES
A moulding apparatus for forming an object from a dose of material derived partially from natural fibres, having a forming region delimited by a lateral surface extending around a central zone of the forming region. The apparatus includes a first half-mould defining the forming region, including a transverse surface and the lateral surface defining a forming cavity, a second half-mould mutually movable with respect to the first half-mould along a moulding axis so as to be inserted into the forming cavity for shaping the dose, and a compensation device which can be positioned at a variable distance from the transverse surface through a mutual movement of the compensation device and the forming cavity, so as to determine a final size of the object to be formed as a function of the volume of the dose inserted into the forming cavity.
Apparatus for manufacturing a container
An apparatus for manufacturing a bottle comprising an inner pouch and an outer paperboard shell, the shell made from a sheet blank comprising a main body panel, a first neck panel and a second neck panel. An apparatus for use in manufacturing a bottle comprises a former having a cavity for receiving the pouch, the former comprising a main body section, a neck section and a shoulder section; at least two neck press elements, each neck press element being moveable into a clamping position to clamp a part of one of said neck panels between the neck press element and the neck section of the former; and at least two shoulder press elements, each shoulder press element being moveable into a clamping position to clamp a part of one of neck panels between the shoulder press element and the shoulder section of the former.
