A flexible side-gusseted package and methods of making the same are disclosed. The package has a central longitudinal axis, a front panel, a back panel, and a pair of gusseted side panels. The front panel is secured to the gusseted side panels along a pair of side seal lines. The back panel is secured to the gusseted side panels along a pair of side seal lines. Each of the seal lines includes a pair of end portions and an intermediate portion. The intermediate portion, e.g., a concave recessed portion, of each side seal line is located closer to the central longitudinal axis than the end portions of the side seal lines to provide a package which is somewhat necked-down at its middle, to facilitate grasping of the package by users.

PUNCHING UNIT AND MANUFACTURING APPARATUS FOR BAG HAVING RECLOSABLE TAPE

Punched and incised portions can be formed properly, in which it is not necessary to replace an anvil depending on a type of a sheet material. A punching unit 51 comprises: a punching blade 50 for punching a first panel material 11, a second panel material 12, an open tape and a mounting base portion so as to form a punching portion; a incising portion 51 for incising the second panel material 12 and the mounting base portion disposed on the open tape so as to form a incising portion; and an adjusting portion 54 for adjusting a first gap 56 in a punching direction 5Z between edges 50A and 51A of the punching and incising blades 50 and 51.

Visually Enhanced Tab File System
20190263171 · 2019-08-29 ·

A tab system for a folder (10a), and a method of making same is disclosed. The tab is enlarged to carry more information/indicia. The visual indicia space (16a), i.e. the viewable space on the front (32a, 36a) of the folder which allows viewing of the enlarged tab is achieve without violating the overall size restrictions (40a) of the file folder. Instead, the front of the folder adjacent to the tab on the back panel, is cut away (32a,34a) to expose a greater portion of the back panel (14a) and allow an increase in visual indicia space. The remaining portion of the front panel, not adjacent to the tab may also be cut away (34a) to allow other enlarged tab files, with offset tabs, (22d, 21a) to be viewable behind the present file.

Cushion pad and packaging bag thereof

The present disclosure providing a cushion pad includes at least one cushion unit including at least one die-cutting region, a length of the die-cutting region increased when the die-cutting region is unfolded; the die-cutting region is unfolded to form a buffer layer that causes the second surface to expand in a thickness direction of the second surface to play a buffering and protective role thereof; the die-cutting region is unfolded to form a three-dimensional network structure. The present disclosure also provides that a packaging bag with the cushion unit is of a plane structure after production; when the packaging bag is used after being transportation, an object is put into the packaging bag or applying a pushing force to the packaging bag so that the cushion unit is expanded to form the buffer layer, to protect the object inside the packaging bag.

Methods and apparatus for forming, filling and sealing film containers

A container (100) is formed by being folded and sealed on one of a multiplicity of male dies (12) of an apparatus (10). The male die (12) with the container (100) placed thereon is inserted into a female die (120). The female die (120) retains the container (100) while the male die (12) is removed therefrom. Lips (110-112) of the container (100) are sandwiched against the female die (120) while product is pushed thereon to prevent collapse of the container (100). The multiplicity of male dies (12) are relatively moveable by rotating about an axis (20) relative to the female die (120).
