A process for making a container includes the step of providing at least one of a slider, sticker, textured surface, pattern, or embossed surface along a folded web of thermoplastic material that comprises a plurality of container templates. The process also includes the step of picking up, with a turner, each container template. The turner includes one or more rotator assemblies that include a rotatable shaft and a bag-contacting surface connected to an end of the rotatable shaft. The bag-contacting surface is configured to engage a top exterior side of each container template. Additionally, the process includes the step of reorienting, with the turner, each container template. The rotatable shaft is configured to horizontally translate and rotate each container template.
PRODUCTION METHOD FOR PLEATED FILM, AND PRODUCTION METHOD OF PLEATED PACKAGING BODY
A production method for a pleated film according to the present invention includes an introduction step for moving an elongated film for use as a packaging body and introducing the film into a gap between a pair of pleat-forming plates disposed with a gap therebetween so that respective inner surfaces of the film oppose each other, a fixing step for fixing the film to the pair of pleat-forming plates, and a step for forming a pleat extending in a latitudinal direction of the film by closing the gap between the pair of pleat-forming plates, wherein sealing bars are provided on the pair of pleat-forming plates on opposing surfaces of the pleat-forming plates.
INDUSTRIAL BAG WITH A CLOSING AND OPENING SYSTEM COMPRISING A BOTTOM STRIP CAPABLE OF BEING TORN OFF AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A BAG
A bag for containing powdery or granular material having a tubular outer wall made of a flexible material and a closing and opening system arranged at one end of the tubular outer wall, as seen in a longitudinal direction of the bag, the closing and opening system including a pair of opposite angle folds extending longitudinally in line with the wall and folded laterally toward the interior of the bag, a pair of opposite lateral flaps extending longitudinally in line with the wall and folded transversely toward the interior of the bag, overlapping the angle folds in the longitudinal direction, where each lateral flap is attached to the two angle folds that it overlaps, the closing and opening system further including a bottom strip that is removably attached over the angle folds and the lateral flaps in the longitudinal direction, being oriented in the lateral direction so as to close the bag, where the bottom strip can be torn off entirely from the rest of the bag in order to open the bag, and includes a gripping tab which is not attached to the rest of the bag and which is located at one of the lateral ends of the bottom strip, adjacent to one of the angle folds, such that the gripping tab can be gripped and pulled in a direction away from the angle fold, so as to progressively tear off the bottom strip in the lateral direction.
Embossed paper in combination with paper cushioning for shipping envelopes
According to some illustrative embodiments, a protective product is provided that includes: at least one expandable slit paper sheet, said at least on expandable slit paper being expanded between opposing ends of said slit paper; a first embossed paper sheet facing said expanded slit paper sheet and a second paper sheet facing an opposite side of said at least one expanded slit paper sheet, at least one of said first embossed paper sheet and said second paper sheet being fixed to said expanded slit paper sheet at the opposing ends of said expanded slit paper sheet and thereby maintaining said expanded paper in its expanded state, said first embossed paper sheet having a plurality of embossings that increase the rigidity of said embossed paper sheet, whereby inhibiting deformation of said embossed paper sheet that is fixed to said expanded slit sheet paper.
FLEXIBLE BAG HAVING A CONVERTIBLE BOTTOM, METHOD AND MACHINE FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A bag made of flexible material has a first and a second segment having cheeks along their selvages, the cheeks being joined together so as to form two gussets joining the segments together, one end of the bag perpendicular to the selvages being closed. The bag has a system of at least one reinforcing panel extending over a central part of the segments, between the gussets, each segment having a fold marking line, one opposite the other, in order to delimit a bottom at the closed end. Method and machine for manufacturing such a bag.
METHOD AND MACHINE FOR MANUFACTURING A FLEXIBLE ENVELOPE-LIKE BAG, PARTICULARLY WITH REINFORCEMENT
A method for manufacturing flexible bags, including: a first strip of flexible material is unwound as a continuous sheet in a longitudinal direction; a hem is formed on each edge of the first strip and the hems are glued over at least one length of a first or a second flap on one stitching face; a fold is formed in the first strip along a transverse folding line to fold down the first flap over the second flap against an internal face of the first strip, the fold bringing, for each edge, hem against hem so as to obtain the bonding of the hems, the strip is cut along a transverse section to form the bag at the end of the operations. Machine implementing the method and bag thus obtained.
Paper folding device
An object of the present invention is to ensure rigid formation of the folds of the protrusions of the paper sheet and smooth conveyance of the folding-processed paper sheet to the downstream side of the folding position in the paper conveyance direction without causing the problems such as jamming. A folding unit includes a lower guide plate arranged at a position facing a folding plate at the folding position, and an arrangement position of a turning shaft of the folding plate is vertically movable with respect to the lower guide plate.
FLEXIBLE CONTAINERS COMPRISING A LOWER BASE OF ESSENTIALLY RECTANGULAR CONFIGURATION, METHOD, MODULE AND MACHINE FOR THEIR MANUFACTURE
A method for the manufacture of flexible containers of the type comprising a lower base and four side faces comprising supplying a W-shaped folded web determining an inverted V shaped bottom, with a central fold being distinguished, and the steps of inserting folded sheets between the opposite walls of the W-shaped web so that, at least, one bonding portion of each folded sheet is attached to the opposite walls and to the bottom of the web in the shape of an inverted V, and to bond these folded sheets to the web at said bonding portion or portions to determine dividing walls on the web prior to performing transverse cuts on the web to individualise a container, the cuts being distanced so that each container includes, at least, two of said dividing walls that will form respective side walls on each container.
Packaging machine former
A former shoulder (10) for a packing machine. The former shoulder (10) includes a former (12) having an external surface (13) over which strip bag material passes to be reconfigured into a tubular configuration. The bag material passes downwardly through a central opening (14) in the former shoulder (10). The former shoulder (10) includes a pair of pivoted guides (22, 23) that engage edge portions of the tubular bag material to form a fold (29) in the bag configuration (26) of the tubular bag material.
PAPER FOLDING DEVICE
An object of the present disclosure is to prevent wrinkles in a folding line portion of a paper irrespective of the conditions such as the type, the size, and the like of the paper, thereby securing the precision of the position of a folding line when a flap (such as a flap portion) of an envelope is folded back. The folding unit comprises a pair of an upper and a lower guide plates that defines part of the paper conveyance path at the folding position, and the folding plate is configured so that, when turning from the placement position to the overlap position, a lower face of the folding plate overlaps an upper face of the upper guide plate of the pair of the upper and the lower guide plates.
