Appartus for, and method of, producing a bag from paper, and paper bag
A bag machine for production of bags made of paper material includes an unwinding device to unwind and feed paper material in a transport direction (x), a device to produce weakening lines partially offset in direction (x), so that a first wall of the bag continues in at least one tab that extends beyond a second wall, a tube-forming device, in which side areas are folded to form an overlapping area, a separation device to separate tube sections along the weakening lines, and a bottom formation device, in which areas of a leading end of the tube section are folded and fastened onto an outer wall thereof. The machine has a device for application of adhesive surfaces to the paper material, with which an adhesive surface is applied to an area of the paper material that represents the side of the tab facing the second wall in the finished bag.
INSULATED PACKAGING AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Insulated packaging is provided including an inner substrate and an outer substrate attached to the inner substrate to form an air gap therebetween. An expandable material including expandable microspheres is provided with the expandable material disposed between the inner substrate and the outer substrate. An adhesive material different than the expandable material is disposed between the inner substrate and the outer substrate to attach the inner substrate to the outer substrate. A method for forming the insulated packaging is also provided.

PACKAGING BAG ON A PAPER BASIS, AS WELL AS METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A PACKAGING BAG
A packaging bag has a bag body on a paper basis, which has front walls that lie opposite one another, side walls arranged between the front walls, and longitudinal edges that connect the front walls with the side walls. A material section that forms the assigned front wall and a material section that forms the assigned side wall, are connected with one another on the longitudinal edges to form a reinforcement fold that runs in the longitudinal direction, by way of a fixation layer that borders on each longitudinal edge. The fixation layer assigned to at least one of the reinforcement folds is an adhesive layer, wherein regions of the bag body between the reinforcement folds are free of an adhesive layer.

BOTTOM FOLD BAG AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Bags for containing various retail items, such as food items, and methods of forming the same. In some aspects, a bag having a top and bottom is provided. The bags can include a first layer and a second layer opposite the first layer and uniformly extending from the first layer. In some aspects, the bag can further include a first side seam between a side of the first layer and an opposing side of the second layer and a second side seam between a side of the second layer and an opposing side of the second layer. The first layer and the second layer each have an un-folded edge substantially parallel to the bottom fold. In some aspects, the bags include a bottom V-shaped fold extending along a transverse axis relative to the first side seam and the second side seam, the bottom V-shaped fold forming a seamless bottom.
Flexible containers having improved seam and methods of making the same
A non-durable flexible container can include a first film wall including a first portion comprising at least one first structural support member defined in the first film wall, and a second portion that is free of a structural support member. The container can further include a second film wall including at least one second structural support member defined in the second film wall, wherein at least a portion of the first structural support member is adjacent to at least a portion of the second structural support member to define a seam region, and a side of the seam region defines an edge of the non-durable flexible container. The container can also include a closed produce volume defined between first and second film walls; and a seam projecting outwardly from the seam region at an intersection of the first and second film walls.

Strengthened Folder With Inserted Elements and System for Element Interchangeability
A folder system with an accordion spine 16, and a method of making same is disclosed. The folder may have a plurality of insert elements 52, 60 either at manufacture or by a stub system which are bound into the spine at the valleys 32 of the web which forms the spine. The web is made of outer zig-zag web 40, with the inner web 42, 44, 46 joining adjacent insert elements and the outer web, to create a strong spine of web and inserts.
WICKET BAG
The invention relates to a method for producing a bag, in which method a bag is produced from a fiber material, preferably a paper material, wherein a web made of the fiber material, preferably a paper web, is unwound as a flat web, thereafter sequential adhesive strips are applied in continuous operation, thereafter the flat web is folded to form a bag shape, thereafter the adhesive strips are activated, for connection, by the application of heat, and thereafter individual bags are cut from the flat web by means of a cutting device.
