PACKAGE HAVING A LAP OR FIN SEAL GAP ELIMINATION FEATURE
A flexible package having a closure device and a lap or fin seal is provided that reduces or eliminates an air gap present at the fin or lap seal portion of packages. The package can include a film with a closure applied to the film. The flexible package can include a film having a closure device applied to the film transverse to the first and second side edges of the film, with the first side edge portion extending into the fin seal such that at least a portion of the first side edge portion eliminates an air gap between the fin or lap seal and at least one of the first and second side edge portions.

CONTAINER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONTAINER, DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING CONTAINER, SEAL BAR, AND FILM ASSEMBLY
Provided is a container including a part in which a first film that configures a container body, a tearing strip, a belt-shaped base, and a second film that configures the container body are stacked in this order. A bonding region in which the first film, the tearing strip, the belt-shaped base, and the second film are bonded to each other is formed traversing the tearing strip and the belt-shaped base. A tab is defined by a cut in a non-bonded region adjacent to the bonding region. The cut passes through at least the first film and the tearing strip. An edge, of the bonding region, on a side of the tab is at least partially not orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the tearing strip.

Multi-film thermoplastic structures and bags having visually-distinct contact areas and methods of making the same
One or more implementations of a multi-film thermoplastic structure include a first film having a first appearance in contact with a second film having a second appearance at one or more visually-distinct contact areas. Wherein the one or more visually-distinct contact areas, cause the first film to take on the second appearance of the second film. The visually-distinct contact areas being of a uniform gauge and configured to separate before either of the first film or the second film fails when subjected to peel forces.
CONTAINER BAG WITH MULTIPLE SEALABLE LOCKS
A container body includes a bag body and a resealable lock. The bag body includes first and second layers overlapped with each other, wherein the bag body further has a plurality of sealing portions provided thereat to form first and second sealing pockets discretely provided between the first and second layers, wherein three of the sealing portions are provided at three sealing edges of the first sealing pocket and three of the sealing portions are provided at three sealing edges of the second sealing pocket, such that each of the first sealing pocket and the second sealing pocket has an unsealed edge serving as an elongated opening. The resealable lock includes a plurality of zip lockers provided at the elongated openings of the first and second sealing pockets, wherein each of the first and second sealing pockets is reclosably sealed by the resealable lock.

CLOSURE DEVICE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A CLOSURE DEVICE AND A PACKAGING CONTAINER HAVING SUCH CLOSURE DEVICE
A closure device for re-closing an opening on a packaging container, which opening having been initially opened within an opening area. The closure device comprises at least a first closure device part arranged on a first side of a first fold axis of the packaging container, and at least a second closure device part arranged on a second side of the first fold axis. The first closure device part is arranged between the opening area and the first fold axis. Further, the first and second closure device parts are provided with mutual lockable members such that the first and second closure device parts may be releasably locked to each other upon folding the packaging container along the first fold axis thereby re-closing the opening in the packaging container. Also, disclosed is a packaging container with a closure device as well as a method of manufacturing the packaging container.
Closure bag with reinforced handles
A polymer bag is disclosed, along with a method of manufacture. The bag is formed of two facing sheets of polymer film, a top edge, a bottom edge, and two side edges. A polymeric zipper is attached to the inside of the facing sheets parallel to and between the top and bottom edges. A respective reinforcing patch is positioned on the inside surface of each of the two respective facing sheets and between the zipper and the top edge. An opening through each reinforcing patch and in the face overlying each patch defines a bag handle.
