Carton With Locking Features
A carton comprising an inner construct that can comprise a plurality of inner panels extending at least partially around a first interior. The inner construct can comprise first and second inner locking tab. An outer construct can comprise a plurality of outer panels extending at least partially around a second interior. The inner construct can be at least partially received in the second interior. The outer construct can comprise first and second outer locking tabs. The second inner locking tab and the second outer locking tab can cooperate to limit movement between the constructs in a closed configuration, and, when the second inner locking tab has been disengaged from the second outer locking tab, the inner construct and/or the outer construct can be movable from the closed configuration to an intermediate configuration in which the first inner locking tab and the first outer locking tab cooperate to limit movement between the constructs.
Plastic corrugated container with soft score line
A box formed from a plastic corrugated material with soft score lines is provided. The soft score lines are formed to enable the top flaps of the box to lay substantially flat against the outer surface of the box when folded to an open position.
Systems and methods for forming and labeling containers
A system for labeling a container includes a label forming section, a buffer section, and a bonding section. The label forming section includes a first rotatable turret having a plurality of forming mandrels. The buffer section includes a second rotatable turret having a plurality of buffer receptacles. The bonding section includes a third rotatable turret having a plurality of bonding stations. The label forming section forms a label in a frustoconical shape using one of the forming mandrels and transfers the label to one of the buffer receptacles of the buffer section. The buffer section receives, in a buffer receptacle, the label followed by a container blank, and transfers the label and the container blank together to one of the bonding stations of the bonding section. The bonding section bonds the label to the container blank in the bonding station.
Container and method for producing a container
A container of paper or paper-like material, having a sleeve and having a bottom and/or a cover, wherein the bottom and/or cover and the sleeve are connected in substantially liquid-tight fashion in the region of a bottom skirt and/or cover skirt. The sleeve is composed of a sheetlike blank, and wherein regions adjoining a first side edge and adjoining a second side edge, situated opposite the first side edge, of the blank are laid one on top of the other so as to form an overlapping side seam and connected to one another by material-bonding engagement, wherein at least the region adjoining the first side edge forms a step which is offset relative to the rest of the blank.
Paper Cup and Its Manufacturing Process
The present paper cup comprises a cup body, and the cup body comprises inner paper and outer paper. There are hollow bulges on the outer paper, and the outer paper forms a connecting part. The inner side of the connecting part bonds to the outer side of the inner paper, and the cup rim of the outer paper extends to the cup rim of the inner paper. In addition, the outer side of the cup rim of the inner paper bonds to the inner side of the outer paper, and both cup rims of the outer paper and the inner paper bend outward to form a double layered crimping. The manufacturing process for the present paper cup includes: paper preparation, rolling, composition, sheet cutting, forming, molding and etc.
Methods for Forming Composite Structures
A method for forming a composite structure may include positioning a composite sheet adjacent to a die opening. A portion of the composite sheet may be constrained between a first forming surface and a second forming surface. The first forming surface may be spaced a gap distance from the second forming surface. The gap distance may be substantially equal to or greater than the sheet thickness. The composite sheet may be urged through the die opening and along a third forming surface to form a composite bottom from the composite sheet.
Container with insulating features
A container for containing a cold fluid. The container includes a sidewall construct that includes an inner sidewall extending at least partially around an interior of the container, an outer sleeve attached to the inner sidewall, and a cavity defined between the inner sidewall and the outer sleeve. The container also includes a closed bottom defining a bottom of the interior of the container, and insulating features that include the cavity and a plurality of annular bands, each annular band of the plurality of annular bands includes a spacer that extends in the cavity from the inner sidewall to the outer sleeve. Adjacent bands define a respective pocket of a plurality of pockets in the cavity such that the insulating features maintain a desired temperature of the cold fluid.
Box forming apparatus and box forming and packing system
A box forming apparatus includes first holders configured to hold a first side surface of a cardboard sheet, second holders configured to hold a second side surface of the cardboard sheet, an arm, a first mover, and a second mover. The arm has a support that supports the first and the second holders. The first mover changes a position of the first holders relative to the second holders while the arm is being rotated to open the cardboard sheet. The second mover moves the arm in association with opening of the cardboard sheet so that, when the cardboard sheet has been opened, the second mover will have moved the support a predetermined distance in a second direction opposite a first direction, which is a direction heading from a rotational center of the arm to a distal end of the arm.
