It comprises at least one portion (25, 26) projecting with respect to the upper plane. The bottom (30) comprises at least one surface portion (15, 16) that is cut out over a portion of the thickness of the cardboard sheet, is compressed and in the form of a non-through hollow, referred to as a hollow portion, the shape of which matches the projecting portion, in line with the latter and arranged to fit together with the projecting portion of the packaging below.
Plant for automated packaging of items in cardboard boxes
A plant for automated packaging of items in cardboard boxes includes a forming station of open sheet boxes starting from a cardboard web, an item introduction system, a box closing station, and a feeding system. A cutting and creasing system at the forming station produces a longitudinal elongate element defining the bottom and top walls and a first pair of side walls of the box, and transverse panels providing the second pair of side walls. A first gluing system bonds the transverse panels to the elongate element by applying hot-melt strips on the side edges of the elongate element, and a pair of suction-cup manipulators applies the transverse panels on the elongate element at the glue strips to obtain a cross-shaped blank. The closing station includes a folding and automatic gluing system that folds and bonds the side walls and the top wall of the box to produce finished packages.
Packaging for modified atmosphere packaging
The invention relates to a method for providing a packaging for modified atmosphere packaging, which method comprises the steps of: providing an unfolded sheet for folding a box; folding the unfolded sheet to a box having at least an access opening and flange parts bordering the access opening, which flange parts compose an endless circumferential flange; providing a plastic foil; heating the plastic foil; pressing the heated plastic foil against the inner wall of the box and covering the circumferential flange, such that the plastic foil is laminated to box. The invention further relates to a packaging.
Production line for making a covered box
A production line (1) for making a covered box (8) comprises: a forming machine (2), configured to receive a cardboard box blank (6) and to fold it to form the box and including a plurality of folders (21) and a movement system configured to receive the box blank (6) oriented horizontally, and comprising a plurality of columns (23), extending along the vertical direction (V) and configured to abut against the base (6a) of the box blank (6) and to move it along a vertical direction (V); a gluing unit (3), configured to receive a covering blank (7) and to spread glue on the covering blank (7); a positioning device (4), configured to position the box on the covering blank (7); a covering machine (5), configured receive the box coupled to the respective covering blank (7) from the positioning device (4) and to fold the covering blank (7) into contact with the box in such a way as to cover the box.
Packaging for Modified Atmosphere Packaging and Method
A packaging for modified atmosphere packaging includes a flangeless cardboard tray having a bottom and an upstanding peripheral wall. A plastic flange is arranged on top of the edge of the peripheral wall. The plastic flange has in cross-section a first part extending horizontally, substantially parallel to the bottom of the tray, a second part depending from the first part downward along the outside of the peripheral wall and a third part depending from the first part, opposite of the second part, along the inside of the peripheral wall. A plastic barrier foil is adhered to and lines the inside of the cardboard tray and extends over the plastic flange to fix the plastic flange onto the flangeless cardboard tray.
Closeable carton
A carton. The carton may include a floor panel; a plurality of side panels extending about a periphery of the floor panel, a front tab formed at an upper edge of a front side panel, upper side flaps extending from upper edges of a first end side panel and a second end side panel, and wherein each flap includes a side receiving slot; foldable corner gussets extending between adjacent side panels, wherein the floor panel, side panels, and foldable corner gussets are configurable to form a compartment region; a hingeable lid, including: a lid panel, a front edge flap, a side tab formed on each opposing side edge of the lid panel, and a front receiving slot formed in the front edge flap, wherein the lid panel is configured to cover the compartment region when in a closed position; and wherein the front tab of the front side panel is configured such that when the hingeable lid is in the closed position, the front tab aligns with the front receiving slot and is receivable therein and each side tab aligns with its respective side receiving slot and are receivable therein.
PACKAGING ASSEMBLY SYSTEM
A system for assembling a packaging assembly of a box and a frame (i) a conveyor for transporting the box along a path of travel in an inverted position with the front and rear closure flaps extending in an open configuration, (ii) an adhesive application station for applying adhesive to the front and rear closure flaps in selected regions, and (iii) a compression station downstream from the adhesive application station to compress (1) the front panel flap to the front closure flap and (2) the rear panel flap to the rear closure flap in the selected regions.
AN APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING DISH-SHAPED PRODUCT PACKAGES
The object of the invention is an apparatus and a method for producing dish-shaped product packages, which apparatus comprises a forming station (10) for product packages, in connection with which forming station is a secondary tool (20) with secondary moulds (21), a heating station and a primary tool (18) with primary moulds (19) for feeding the sheet-like, fiber-based blanks to be formed into product packages into the forming of product packages.
