System and device for evaluating operation result of corrugated paperboard box making machine
The operation result evaluation system comprises: an operation result information generation part configured to generate operation result information including a production count and an achieved operating time period; and an operation result evaluation device for, after completion of production of corrugated paperboard boxes for a given order, evaluating an operation result of the box making machine. The operation result evaluation device is operable to: with respect to each order, calculate an additional operating time period which is a difference between a target operating time period and the achieved operating time period; generate analytical information regarding an operating time period (FIG. 8) in each order; with respect to each of the entirety or part of a given number of orders, generate comparative information (FIG. 9); and cause the generated comparative information to be transmitted to a user terminal.
METHOD OF USING A TAMPER-EVIDENT BOX
A method of using a box can include obtaining the box, the box comprising a box top and a box bottom, the box top comprising a first main panel and a first end panel, at least one of the first main panel and the first end panel defining a locking tab separable from the box top; the box bottom comprising a second main panel and a second end panel, the second end panel defining a locking opening, a lateral width of the locking tab at an ear thereof being greater than-and at a neck thereof being less than-a lateral width of the locking opening; inserting the locking tab into a gap defined at least in part by the second end panel, thereby hiding a portion of the locking tab behind the second end panel; and engaging the locking tab with the locking opening.
Method and apparatus for forming containers
A method and apparatus are disclosed for forming containers. The containers may be cans, including composite cans. The apparatus may include a cylindrical mandrel and a blank may be formed into a cylindrical tube around the mandrel. Rotational apparatuses may engage portions of a blank that may be in a flat configuration and may rotate the portions around the outward cylindrical surface of the mandrel. Free edges of the tubular blank may be sealed by a sealing strip that may be T-shaped in cross section. A cup may be installed in an end opening, such as a bottom end, of the cylindrical tube. The cup may be sealed in the end opening by a seaming process using a seaming apparatus.
Apparatus and method for creating on demand customized corrugated cardboard for forming individually designed packaging boxes
Apparatus to create on demand customized cardboard for forming individually designed packaging boxes, said cardboard having at least one corrugated layer sandwiched between two flat layers, the apparatus comprising a joining station that attaches a second flat layer to a corrugated layer attached to a first layer, supply system to supply said corrugated layer with the first flat layer attached thereto to said joining station, supply system to supply said second flat layer to said joining station, a control system operable to obtain information on the dimensions of a packaging box to be formed and on a design selected for that box and further operable to match the selected design to the dimensions of the box and a printing unit to print the matched design on the first and/or on the second flat layer.
Box forming machine
A box forming machine includes a converter assembly, a fold assembly, and an attachment assembly. The converter assembly converts sheet material into a box template. The fold assembly engages a first end of the box template and moves the first end of the box template to a predetermined position. The attachment assembly engages a second end of the box template and moves the second end of the box template toward and into engagement with the first end of the box template to attach the first and second ends of the box template together.
Box erecting machine
A box erecting machine includes a transport mechanism that can move an un-erected box from an entry portion of the box erecting machine to a forward portion of the box erecting machine. The transport mechanism can include pivot arm(s) and clamp(s) for securing and moving the un-erected box. The machine can also include a box erecting assembly that erects the un-erected box. The box erecting assembly can include an opening or unfolding mechanism that opens or unfolds the un-erected box into a generally rectangular tube. The machine can also include a folding mechanism and a closure mechanism for folding and securing the bottom flaps of the box.
Method and apparatus for erecting cartons and for order fulfilment and packing
A system and method of packing an order. A first sequence of bins corresponding to orders is transported on a first conveyor to a packing station. A case for each order is constructed by a case forming system, the case forming system able to construct cases from blanks of various sizes. The cases are transported from the case construction apparatus to the packing station in a second sequence, wherein the sequential order of the cases corresponds to the bins in the first sequence. The bin in the first sequence are brought to the packing station with the cases in the second sequence.
Product package having finished edges and cavities
A package includes board platform having a folded top platform element and bottom platform element made from cardboard material. The top platform element has cutout portions conforming to shapes of a product to be packaged. A folded cardboard product tray element forms an open cavity conforming to the shape of the product and is secured to at least one of the top platform element and the bottom platform element and is disposed therebetween. A paper platform wrapper covers the exterior surfaces of the top platform element and a paper product tray wrapper covers the interior side wall of the open cavity.
FOLDED LAMINATE BLANK AND A PACK FORMED THEREFROM
A blank which can be folded to form a pack for food items and the like. The blank being formed of a laminate of a card layer on a film layer. The blank has a front face (9) and rear face (13) connected to opposite sides of a base (10) via fold lines (12, 14). The base has a central third transverse fold line (11) about which the base can be folded in an opposite sense. Side panels (15, 17) extend transversely from both sides of the blank. A film layer extends beyond the card layer so as to form unsupported film regions with a first region extending transversely from the base (10) and a second region continuous with the first region to at least partially overlie a corresponding side panel (15, 17) when the blank is folded. The second regions of unsupported film bond with the film on the corresponding side panel to seal the side panels in the erected pack.
Retail ready containers
A blank for constructing a container includes a front panel, a bottom panel foldably connected to the front panel along a lower front horizontal fold line, and a side panel having a front portion and a rear portion. The side panel is foldably connected to at least one of the bottom panel or the front panel. The blank includes a top panel that is foldably connected to the side panel, and a rear panel foldably connected to the rear portion of the side panel along a rear vertical fold line. The front and rear portions of the side panel are separable from one another along a separation line such that the rear portion of the side panel and the rear panel are configured and adapted for removal.
