RESPIRATORY THERAPY FILTER, FLOW CONTROL, AND PATIENT INTERFACE APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A nebulizer assembly for a respiratory device is provided having a housing defining a chamber. The housing also has a nebulizer port configured to receive a nebulizer to discharge atomized medication into the chamber. An outlet of a handle is coupled to the inlet of the housing. A hose is coupled to an inlet of the handle. A patient interface is coupled to the outlet of the housing. Air flows from the hose to the patient interface via the handle and the housing. The air mixes with the atomized medication within the chamber.
Systems And Methods For Therapeutic Sound Treatment
Described herein are methods and systems for providing therapeutic sound treatment to the human body. The present methods and systems may comprise a seating apparatus, a computing device, and a plurality of output devices. The computing device may provide a user interface allowing selection of one or more symptoms. The one or more symptoms may be associated with a sound frequency (or frequencies) and a duration(s) and/or pattern for output of the sound frequency (or frequencies). The computing device may cause the plurality of output devices to output the sound frequency (or frequencies) associated with the selected one or more symptoms, which may provide health benefits for the user, such as alleviating the selected one or more symptoms.
Pump cassette and methods for use in medical treatment system using a plurality of fluid lines
A fluid handling cassette, such as that useable with an automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) cycler device or other infusion apparatus, may include a generally planar body having at least one pump chamber formed as a depression in a first side of the body and a plurality of flowpaths for a fluid that includes a channel. A patient line port may be arranged for connection to a patient line and be in fluid communication with the at least one pump chamber via at least a first one of said flowpaths, and an optional membrane may be attached to the first side of the body over the at least one pump chamber. In one embodiment, the membrane may have a pump chamber portion with an unstressed shape that generally conforms to the depression of the at least one pump chamber in the body and is arranged to be movable for movement of the fluid in a useable space of the at least one pump chamber. One or more spacers may be provided in the at least one pump chamber to prevent the membrane from contacting an inner wall of the at least one pump chamber. The patient line, a drain line, and/or a heater bag line may be positioned to be separately occludable in relation to one or more solution lines that are connectable to the cassette.

A humidification system can include a heater base, a chamber, and a breathing circuit. The heater base includes a heater plate positioned in a recessed region, and a heat conductive portion of the chamber is configured to contact the heater plate. The heater base includes a guard configured to control movement of the chamber into and out of the recessed region. The guard includes an anti-racking mechanism. The chamber includes an inlet port, an outlet port. A downward extension extends into the chamber from the inlet port, and a baffle is disposed at a lower end of the downward extension. A component of the breathing circuit can include a conduit hanging end cap for shipping and storage. The end cap can include a hanging component to allow the breathing circuit component to be hung from a medical stand. The system can detect when breathing circuits are connected in reverse.
Dialysis machine
A dialysis machine having a housing and a monitor is disclosed. Situated on a front side of the housing is a front door, on the top side of which a monitor housing is formed and a monitor is fastened. The monitor is situated, at least in portions, above a top side of the housing. A comparatively low, and therefore ergonomic, storage surface may be formed or situated behind the monitor on the top side of the housing.
Pump device, comprising a pump and a housing accommodating the pump
A pump device as may be used in a breast pump assembly including a pump configured to put fluid in motion, a housing accommodating the pump, at least one fluid transporting conduit connected to the pump, the at least one conduit extending between the pump and the housing, thereby connecting the pump to a position at the housing where the housing is provided with at least one opening for allowing fluid to pass, and a mounting arrangement for mounting the pump in the housing. The at least one conduit is part of the mounting arrangement and has flexible properties to reduce an extent to which vibrations of the pump are transferred to the housing through the mounting arrangement during operation of the device.
PORTABLE DIALYSIS SYSTEM
A dialysis system (10) comprising a dialysis machine (20) and a water purification system (30). The water purification system (30) comprising a pre-treatment system (10) and a primary treatment system (80). The water purification system (30) is provided within a portable unit (90) defining an enclosure. The dialysis machine (20) is removably provided on an upper surface of the enclosure of the portable unit (90).
HYPERTHERMIC HUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM
Apparatus and methods for delivering humidified breathing gas to a patient are provided. The apparatus includes a humidification system configured to deliver humidified breathing gas to a patient. The humidification system includes a vapor transfer unit and a base unit. The vapor transfer unit includes a liquid passage, a breathing gas passage, and a vapor transfer device positioned to transfer vapor to the breathing gas passage from the liquid passage. The base unit includes a base unit that releasably engages the vapor transfer unit to enable reuse of the base unit and selective disposal of the vapor transfer unit. The liquid passage is not coupled to the base unit for liquid flow therebetween when the vapor transfer unit is received by the base unit.
Disposable cassette with luer locks and method for packaging
