A system and process for making a container or pouch that separates the cutting and sealing steps into two distinct steps with a separate step of rotating the container or pouch template 90 degrees relative to a direction of travel between the cutting and sealing steps.

The method serves for producing flexible packaging products, more particularly packaging bags, the packaging products being formed by welding together two film layers. In order to avoid imprecisions in the sequence of process steps, film sections (4) formed of film layers are separated from a film web (7a; 7b) and transferred to a transport device (1) where they are positively fixed at least at one edge by means of a fixing device (3). Then the film sections (4) are transported by means of the transport device (1) in a transport direction (5) to at least one welding station (12) while maintaining the positive fit, the film layers are welded together in the latter, and the film sections (4) are subsequently further transported while maintaining the positive fit.

A method, a cutting device and an apparatus wherein, at cusp-shaped recesses obtained by die cutting on a ribbon in order to obtain pouches with rounded corners, the ribbon is cut transversely by means of at least two strokes of a blade. A relative translation is performed, between the first stroke and the second stroke, between the cutting plane and the ribbon substantially along a feeding direction of the ribbon, so as to level with the second stroke any cutting defects of the first stroke in the region of the recess.

An adhesive application device for applying, includes a nozzle unit having a number of nozzles for applying an adhesive to a material which is moved along a direction of transport, said nozzles being displaceable transversely to the direction of transport along a first guide spindle; and plural individual gluing heads, each being arranged separately from each other on respective second separate guide spindles, so as to be displaceable transversely to the direction of transport.
