APPARATUS FOR PLASMA STERILIZATION OF MEDICAL DEVICES
A system for sterilization of a medical device comprising at least one medical device and at least one sterilization device. The sterilization device comprises at least one plasma generator and at least one water source and/or water vapor source for providing water and/or water vapor. The sterilization device is configured to generate plasma-activated water vapor and the system is configured to at least partially conduct the plasma-activated water vapor through the medical device.
Spent dialysate container for disposing spent dialysate in a dialysis system
Dialysis systems for operating dialysis machines (e.g., peritoneal dialysis machines) for conducting dialysis treatments are disclosed. The dialysis system may include a spent dialysate container for receiving spent dialysate from a patient. In use, the spent dialysate containers are arranged and configured to provide one or more mechanical advantages to ease disposal of the spent dialysate. For example, the spent dialysate container may receive the spent dialysate from the patient and enable the patient or caregiver to dispose of the spent dialysate without requiring the patient or caregiver to lift bags of spent dialysate or incorporate lengthy drain lines. The spent dialysate container may include a reservoir to receive the spent dialysate, wheels to enable the patient or caregiver to transport the reservoir, mechanisms to facilitate disposal of the spent dialysate from the reservoir, a nozzle to dispose of the spent dialysate, and/or a disinfectant to disinfect the drain.
CONNECTION ELEMENT AND CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR A BLOOD TREATMENT DEVICE
The invention relates to a connection element (1) for a blood treatment device, in particular for a dialysis machine. The connection element (1) has here an inlet line (2), for letting in a fluid into the connection element (1), an outlet line (3), for letting a fluid out of the connection element (1), at least a first discharge line (21), for discharging a fluid from the connection element (1), wherein the first discharge line (21) is formed in a subsection (22) around the inlet line (2), and wherein the inlet line (2) and the first discharge line (21) are open to a first end section (23) of the connection element (1), and the first end section (23) is fluidically connected with the subsection (22).
A RESPIRATORY CONDUIT
A respiratory conduit has a hollow tube having an inlet, an outlet, a longitudinal axis, and defining a fluid flow path. Along at least a length of the tube, an outer surface of the tube has alternate ridges and grooves. The respiratory conduit also has a sheath surrounding at least a portion of the length of the tube, the sheath has alternate attachment portions and bridging portions. The attachment portions contact the ridges of the tube. The bridging portions extend across the grooves of the tube. Each bridging portion has a span length being the distance in the longitudinal direction between adjacent attachment portions, and a depth being the maximum distance in a radial direction between a point on the bridging portion and a point on one of the adjoining attachment portions. The depth of the bridging portion is greater than zero.
ELECTRICAL HEATING MODULE AND POWER SUPPLY CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed is a personal vaping device provided with an electrical heating module as an atomizer or heater. The personal vaping device at least includes a power control circuit, which includes a current input terminal, a current input terminal, and a current control module. The power control circuit further includes a power supply control module, a current control module, a voltage modulation module, and a forward and reverse connection current generation module. The microprocessor is configured to control the voltage modulation module and the forward and reverse connection current generation module. The voltage modulation module is configured to regulate a voltage of the DC power supply to a first target voltage and a second target voltage. The forward and reverse connection current generation module is configured to generate a forward connection current and a reverse connection current according to the second target voltage to drive the atomizer or heater for heating.
Hub cleaning device for medical connectors and method of use
A cleaning device is configured access and remove fluid from and dry a moat region defined by a hub of a medical connector, thereby minimizing the potential for bacterial growth in the hub. The cleaning device takes the form of an absorbent block which can be inserted into the moat by extending about a central male fitting and into a gap between the male fitting and the inner wall of a female hub of the medical connector. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the block takes the form of a tubular cylinder particularly configured for use on ENFit medical connectors wherein the absorptive feature of the cleaning device can be employed alone or in combination with another cleaning tool used to first remove any existing dried and caked solution in the hub before removing residual cleaning fluid from the moat.
Sterilization Arrangement for Drug Delivery Device
