Method and device having a counterpunching belt, for punching labels
A device for punching labels from a substrate web having a carrier layer and a label layer includes a punching installation for punching labels. The punching installation has a delaminating installation for separating the label layer from the carrier layer, a metallic non-suction revolving counterpunching belt for conveying the label layer during a punching operation, and a relaminating installation for reconnecting the label layer, provided with punchings, to the carrier layer. A method for punching self-adhesive labels is also provided. In this way, a thin carrier layer can be used, and it is ensured that the carrier layer is not damaged during punching.
LABEL MANUFACTURING METHOD AND LABEL
A label manufacturing method including: applying an adhesive to a base sheet to form an adhesive layer; applying an acrylate-based bonding adhesive to part of the adhesive layer to cure the adhesive layer so as to form a cured portion; and cutting the cured portion to define labels. A label having an adhesive layer 12 laminated on a base sheet 13. A part of the adhesive layer 12 is cured to form a cured portion 14, wherein the cured portion 14 is cured by an acrylate-based bonding adhesive for enabling cutting labels off the laminated base sheet.
Apparatus and Method for Producing Stacks of Partially Overlapping Labels and Roll of Partially Overlapping Labels
A roll of labels, each of the labels having a label side and an adhesive side, the roll comprising a stack of partially overlapping labels winded around a core structure. The label side of the first label of the stack, closest to the core structure, is on top of the stack. The roll also comprises a liner provided under a non-overlapping portion on the adhesive side of the partially overlapping labels. A method, and an apparatus, for stacking labels comprising conveying a plurality of individual labels at a first speed and transferring each of the plurality of individual labels to form a stack of labels running at a second speed lower than the first speed, thereby causing the transferred labels to be stacked in a partially overlapping configuration.
Winding Device And Label Printing Apparatus
A winding device includes: a separation unit that separates sheets layered and simultaneously transported; a winding unit that winds one of the sheets separated by the separation unit; and a pressure contact unit that presses the one of the sheets wound by the winding unit from outside of the wound sheet toward the winding unit.
Peel Reclose Package with Laser Features
Peel-Reclose packaging material formed using an adhesive label in combination with laser scoring technology. The adhesive label is applied over laser scored material before or after the laser score forms a pattern smaller than the adhesive label. The adhesive label and laser scored packaging material can then be opened and resealed. In one embodiment the adhesive label in combination with the packaging material has tamper resistant features.
LABEL DIE CUTTING MACHINE, PRINTING DEVICE, AND LABEL DIE CUTTING METHOD
A label die cutting device enables easily changing the shape of the die cut made in label paper. A printer 1 has a print unit 7 and a die cutting process unit 8 (label die cutting device). The die cutting process unit 8 has a conveyance path 9 for conveying the label paper 5, a die cutting unit including wire pins 41 and a wire pin drive mechanism 42 for advancing and retracting the wire pins 41, and a die cutting controller 68 for driving the wire pin drive mechanism 42 to strike the wire pins 41 against the label paper 5 on the conveyance path 9 and die cut the label paper 5 based on print data. The die cutting unit is a wire dot head 27.
APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING A FLEXIBLE MATERIAL
An apparatus for processing a flexible material (14) comprises: a first roller (5) extending along a main axis (A1); a second roller (6) extending along a longitudinal axis (A2), the first roller (5) and the second roller (6) being mutually co-operating to carry out an operation on the flexible material (14), an interspace (37) being defined between the first roller (5) and the second roller (6) though which the flexible material (14) can pass; a pressing device for pushing the first roller (5) and the second roller (6) one towards another; a position adjustment device for adjusting the relative position of the first roller (5) and the second roller (6), the position adjustment device being distinct from the pressing device.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DISCRETE PORTIONS
An apparatus for manufacturing discrete portions (19; 119) comprises: an advancement device for advancing a flexible material (4; 102) along a path (P1); a cutting device (18) positioned along said path (P1) for cutting the flexible material (4; 102) so as to obtain a discrete portion (19; 119), the cutting device (18) comprising a laser source (20) configured to emit a laser beam (21) incident on a rear face (7; 107), opposite a printed front face (5; 105), of the flexible material (4; 102); a retaining device (22) for retaining the flexible material (4; 102) while the cutting device (18) cuts the discrete portion (19; 119) from the flexible material (4; 102).
Label for use on store shelves in a retail environment
A label for use on store shelves in a retail environment. The label include adhesive strips applied to a bottom surface of each label and a top laminate layer with a release coating applied to the top surface of each label.
LABELS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING THE SAME
Label apparatus having identification tags and tamper evident pattern release layers and methods of producing such labels are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a first substrate, a first pattern of adhesive, a tamper-evident release layer, a second pattern of adhesive, a tag, a third pattern of adhesive, and a second substrate. The first pattern of adhesive includes a first adhesive. The first pattern of adhesive and the tamper-evident release layer are disposed on the first substrate. The second and third patterns of adhesive include a second adhesive. The second pattern of adhesive is disposed on the first substrate and surrounded by the first pattern of adhesive. The tag includes a remaining portion coupled to the first pattern of adhesive and a removable portion coupled to the second pattern of adhesive. The third pattern of adhesive is coupled to the tag, the first pattern of adhesive, and the second substrate.
