A respiratory mask can have a frame supporting a sealing arrangement. Various features of the frame and sealing arrangement can improve comfort and reduce the occurrence of pressure sores. The frame can include cheek supports that have a large surface area configured to spread loads over a greater area of the patient's face and therefore reduce the forces applied to the face and the occurrence of point loads. The seal can have a main body that includes a spring with a silicone skin, wherein the spring applies a substantially constant force to the face and/or nares of the patient.

Smart Electronic Mask, Headset and Inhaler
20220160044 · 2022-05-26 · ·

Provided is a smart inhaler, headset and wearable smart mask configured to operate as an air ionizer and a controlled multi-liquid atomizer. The smart mask, headset and smart inhaler use a mature technology to deliver various types of liquid solutions to different applications from health care, drug delivery, immunization to recreational and gaming uses. In addition, the smart mask and headset contain multiple actuators to provide haptic feedback to the areas around the mask and headset. The headset, smart mask and inhaler have a direct communication path to a smart device or it can be a smart device by itself; its various environmental and gas sensors act as a feedback mechanism. The detection level of the organic and non-organic VOC gas emitted when exhaling can be communicated and stored for analysis purposes. The detected gas can be regenerated on the same smart mask or a different remote smart mask.

A system and method for therapeutic stimulation using virtual objects and gamification, in which multi-modality stimulus is applied using some combination of virtual elements, attention is enhanced by virtue of the user's active participation, and long-term use is encouraged by virtue of the entertaining nature of the gamification. Depending on configuration, the system and method may comprise a display comprising virtual objects, a light-producing device (other than the display), an audio-producing device such as speakers or headphones, a haptic feedback device such as a vibratory motor, a means for monitoring the user's attention, and a software application which applies therapeutic stimulation using some combination of the display, the light-producing device, the audio-producing device, and the haptic feedback device.

NOCTURNAL NEURO DEVICE

While the described nocturnal neuro device can include in any suitable component, in some cases it includes a wearable apparatus for sleep disorder management. Such apparatus can include a housing having a case and a strap. In some cases, the apparatus includes one or more sensors that are configured to monitor one or more physiological indicators of a user, the one or more physiological indicators comprising at least one of a brain electrical activity of the user, a brain wave frequency of the user, and a brain image registered from the user. In some cases, the apparatus further includes a processor to analyze the physiological indicator of the user. In some cases, the apparatus includes a dispensary cartridge for providing olfactory feedback to the user, wherein the dispensary cartridge is configured to dispense an odor from a chemical disposed in the dispensary cartridge. In some cases, when the processor determines that the user is asleep and experiencing a sleep disorder episode, the processor is configured to initiate the olfactory feedback. Other implementations are described.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED NON-INVASIVE NEURAL CIRCUIT CONTROL TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING SLEEP

Provided is an artificial intelligence-based noninvasive brain circuit control therapy system for sleep enhancement, the system including a wearable device including a first wearable member and a second wearable member formed to be wearable on a body of a user, a first sensor unit disposed on the first wearable member to detect an electroencephalogram (EEG), a second sensor unit disposed on the second wearable member to detect a biometric signal different from the EEG, and a stimulation means disposed on the first wearable member to stimulate the brain according to a stimulation signal provided thereto; a learning unit configured to machine-learn a criterion for determination of a sleep stage of the user based on a first sensing signal generated by the first sensor unit and a second sensing signal generated by the second sensor unit; and a determination unit configured to determine a current sleep stage of the user based on the criterion for determination, generate a stimulation signal corresponding to a determined sleep stage, and provide the stimulation signal to the stimulation means.

FLEXIBLE FACE MASK FOR VARIOUS DENTAL AND MEDICAL USES
20210360996 · 2021-11-25 ·

A dental mask (M) comprises a very flexible mask substrate (MS) with a relatively rigid front plate (FP) which may be a viewing window (VW) causing the mask substrate to extend forward from a patient's face, forming a chamber in front of the patient's mouth. Instrument ports (IP) allow instruments to be introduced through the mask into the patient's oral or nasal cavity to perform dental or medical procedures. An elastic band (CE) on the mask substrate to conform the mask to contours of the patient's face. A malleable metal strip (MM) for conforming the mask to the patient's nose. Methods of fabricating the mask are disclosed. The mask, and variations thereof, may be used to perform various treatments, including non-oral procedures. Using a nebulizer in conjunction with the mask, wherein the nebulizer is supported independently of the mask.
