PAP system
A respiratory system is configured to pressurize and deliver a flow of respiratory gas to a patient's airways. The respiratory system includes a cushion configured to sealingly engage the patient's face and a blower mounted to the cushion and configured to pressurize a flow of respiratory gas. An interface structure is attached to an outlet of the blower and an aperture in the cushion. The interface structure forms a gas flow path between the cushion and the blower. The gas flow path is configured to deliver the pressurized respiratory gas from the blower through the aperture in the cushion. The gas flow path is also configured to vent exhaled gas from the aperture in the cushion to atmosphere. The respiratory system also includes headgear configured to support the cushion and the blower on the patient's face.
Topical Medicine Applicator for Scalp
A medicine applicator includes a pressurized canister. The pressurized canister contains a medicine. The pressurized canister includes a nozzle. The nozzle includes a valve. The medicine applicator includes a handle, wherein, in response to a motion of the handle, the valve of the nozzle can be activated to release the medicine from the pressurized canister. The medicine applicator includes a distributor attached to a top portion of the nozzle. The medicine applicator includes a scalp contactor attached to the distributor.
HEAD-MOUNTED DEVICE FOR REDUCING SYMPTOMS OF CYBERSICKNESS
A head-mounted device for reducing symptoms of cybersickness includes a main shell, and a stimulation unit. The main shell includes first, second and third tube bodies that are arc-shaped and that are worn respectively on the top and back of the user’s head and the user’s ear. The stimulation unit includes first, second and third components that are received respectively in the first, second and third tube bodies, that are movable in a rolling, sliding or flowing manner with low friction, and that are configured to generate and transmit a stimulation force, through one end of the respective one of the first, second and third tube bodies, to the use’s vestibular system in respond to movement of the user’s head.
Head and/or Neck-Mounted Aerosol-Based Respiratory Protection Device
The invention refers to a head and/or neck-mounted respiratory protection device (10) comprising a body-wearable elongated mount (12) for attaching the respiratory protection device (10) to the head and/or neck of a user, a reservoir (14) for storing a bioactive substance (30), and an aerosol generating device (16) connected to the reservoir (14) to receive the bioactive substance (30). The aerosol generating device (16) is configured for generating an aerosol comprising the bioactive substance (30) and for dispensing said aerosol into a respiration area in front of the mouth and nose of the user in order to provide a sterilising atmosphere therein. The invention further refers to a corresponding method of controlling a respiratory protection device.
BONE CONDUCTION BODY SUPPORT DEVICE
A bone conduction body support device is disclosed, including a body support device including a controller releasably engaged to a sidewall of the body support device. A first bone conductor is flexibly engaged to the body support device via a first string connected to a first eyelet positioned in an interior cavity of the body support device. A second bone conductor is flexibly engaged to the body support device via a second string connected to a second eyelet positioned in the interior cavity of the body support device. Each of the first bone conductor and the second bone conductor connected to the controller via an electrical wiring.
Respiratory mask with cheek supports
A respiratory mask can have a frame supporting a sealing arrangement. Various features of the frame and sealing arrangement can improve comfort and reduce the occurrence of pressure sores. The frame can include cheek supports that have a large surface area configured to spread loads over a greater area of the patient's face and therefore reduce the forces applied to the face and the occurrence of point loads. The seal can have a main body that includes a spring with a silicone skin, wherein the spring applies a substantially constant force to the face and/or nares of the patient.
NON-INVASIVE BRAIN TEMPERATURE REGULATING DEVICES FOR ENHANCING SLEEP
Methods, systems and devices for enhancing sleep, including enhancing the quality of sleep, reducing sleep onset time, increasing total sleep time, treating insomnia, and/or treating other neurological disorders by non-invasive temperature regulation of the frontal cortex prior to and/or during sleep. Described herein are thermal applicators that include phase change materials and/or evaporative cooling, as well as headgear for securing the applicators comfortably against the appropriate region of the user's head.
DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY OPERATING STAMP-TYPE FLUID INJECTOR HAVING FINE NEEDLES FOR HAIR LOSS CARE AND TREATMENT
Proposed is a device for automatically operating a stamp-type fluid injector having fine needles for hair loss care and treatment. A hole is formed at the center of a cover coupled to the lower portion of an outer case such that an outer cap is moved up and down in the hole by a motor. An inner cap elastically operated by a spring is disposed under the outer cap, a flexible cap is disposed in the inner cap, and a fluid injector is simply inserted into and separated out of the flexible cap through the hole of the cover. Accordingly, it is possible to uniformly and continuously tap the scalp by automatically moving up and down a fluid injector by operating the motor. Further, a fluid injector can be more conveniently used, as compared with when it is manually used.
