MULTI-PLY TISSUE PAPER PRODUCT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
A multi-ply tissue paper product includes at least four plies made of tissue paper base-sheet or non-woven. Two inner plies are positioned between a first outer ply on one side and a second outer ply on another side. The two inner plies are flat plies. The first and second outer plies include a micro-embossing pattern. Only one of the outer plies further includes a dcor embossing pattern. The multi-ply tissue paper product is configured to provide improved thickness and strength parameters with less use of paper fiber material.
DEVICE FOR PRODUCING PACKAGING MATERIAL FROM PAPER
The invention relates to a device and a method for producing packaging material from two paper webs, wherein shaped regions are created from at least one of the paper webs, the shaped regions projecting beyond the paper web and each being limited by a closed circumferential line in the paper web plane, and the paper webs, at their ends facing each other, consist exclusively of paper and are free of adhesive and connecting synthetic auxiliary material, in particular free of plastics film, and preferably after preconditioning of the paper webs are pressed against each other in such a way that, in connecting portions between the shaped regions, paper fibers of the one paper web are connected to paper fibers of the other paper web and the paper webs limit closed cavities in the region of the shaped regions.
Embossing device and method
An embossing device (1) includes three embossing rollers (5, 7, 9), each co-acting with a pressure roller (11, 15, 19), to emboss a plurality of paper plies (V1, V2, V3). Two embossing rollers can be easily interchanged to switch from a nested configuration to a tip-to-tip configuration, or to switch from one type of pattern to another. A lamination roller and a glue dispenser are arranged around one of the embossing rollers.
Embossed multi-ply tissue product
Disclosed are multi-ply embossed tissue products having improved softness, strength, embossment clarity and/or embossment height compared to prior art embossed tissue products. The multi-ply tissue products may comprise an embossed tissue ply having a basis weight less than about 25 grams per square meter (gsm) and relatively deep embossments, such as an embossment height from about 500 to about 1,000 ?m and relatively narrow bottom portions compared to top portions. The combination of these elements provides an aesthetically pleasing and well-defined embossment, while improving important tissue product properties such as sheet and roll bulk and softness.
Module comprising a frame and folder/gluer thus equipped
A module for a folder-gluer (1) includes a frame (13) having two substantially vertical front and rear walls (14, 16) and at least one functional arrangement (28, 33) held by the frame (13), at least one transverse element (17, 18), mechanically connecting and maintaining parallelism between the first and rear walls (14, 16) and the transverse element is configured with at least one substantially horizontal portion forming an apron (19), which is configured to permit an operator (30) to climb onto the frame and to access the functional arrangement (28, 33).
Tissue product and method and apparatus for producing same
A tissue product with at least four plies made of tissue paper base sheet or nonwoven comprises: a first outer ply and a second outer ply and at least two inner plies between the first outer ply and the second outer ply, wherein only one of the inner plies is un-embossed; the outer plies comprise a micro-embossing pattern; at least one of the outer plies comprises a d?cor embossing pattern; and at least two adjacent inner plies comprise the un-embossed inner ply and one micro-embossed inner ply; wherein the density of the micro-embossed protrusions of the micro-embossed inner ply is different to the density of further embossed protrusions of the micro-embossing pattern of the outer ply which is adjacent to the micro-embossed inner ply.
CONTINUOUS PROCESS FOR FORMING DOMED PAPER AND STRUCTURES
A process and system for making a domed product by forming domes or protrusions into a sheet. The process including: moving a die set comprising one or more domes or protrusions, wherein the die set selectively registers with the sheet; latching the die set to the sheet after the selectively registering; and pressing the one or more domes or protrusions of the die set into the sheet for a period to obtain the domed product, wherein the die set moves independently from the sheet prior to the latching.
Method And Apparatus for Changing Rollers on an Embosser/Laminator Machine
An embosser/laminator machine has an adhesive unit releasably connectable with a main frame structure of the machine, and a roll extractor configured to move a roll between the main frame structure and an exchange position between the main frame structure and the adhesive unit when the adhesive unit is spaced from the main frame structure during removal and installation of the roll. The sub-frame comprising the adhesive unit may be formed with a bearing cap that cooperates with the main frame structure such that when the adhesive unit is connected with the main frame structure, the roll is operatively secured to the machine between main frame structure and the sub-frame of the adhesive unit for normal operation of the machine. When the sub-frame comprising the adhesive unit is released and spaced from main frame structure, the roll may be removed from and installed into the main frame structure.
COMPOSITE SHEET, AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE SHEET
Provided are a composite sheet whose recess-protrusion shape can easily be made crush-resistant in a state that the soft feel against the skin is maintained, and a device and method for manufacturing said composite sheet. A first sheet has a curved part in which one surface thereof rises and the other surface thereof is recessed, and a boundary part adjacent to the curved part. A second sheet is joined to the boundary part of the first sheet so as to cover the other surface of the curved part. A region of the second sheet facing the curved part has a protruding part in which an inside surface on the first sheet side rises so as to approach the curved part and an outside surface on the reverse side thereof is recessed, and a flat part surrounding the periphery of the protruding part.
Machine and method for embossing paper web products
A machine for embossing, including at least one pair of embossing nips for plies of paper, at least one laminating nip to bond the plies of paper, a pair of embossing cylinders, each having on its surface a respective plurality of embossing protrusions, each defining a wrap angle for the at least one ply of paper, and defining therebetween a transfer nip, a pair of pressure cylinders, each associated with a respective one of the embossing cylinder, the embossing nip being defined between each pair formed of embossing cylinder and pressure cylinder, a laminating device for bonding the plies delivered from the transfer nip, at least one distribution device of material to facilitate ply-bonding arranged upstream of the laminating device, and at least one heating device for at least one of the embossing cylinders.
