A display apparatus can include a display panel constructed so that at least a portion thereof is deformable, an apron structure supporting the display panel, and a printed circuit board electrically connected to the display panel. At least a portion of the apron structure is bendable. The apron structure includes a gap-maintaining unit disposed at the bendable portion of the apron structure.

COMPOSITE ROD AND ITS PROCESSING METHOD
20230211399 · 2023-07-06 ·

This invention relates to a composite mandrel and its processing technology, including: processing, connection, welding, alloy overlaying, tempering after overlaying, polishing, chrome plating etc., on the whole and auxiliary body of mandrel. The composite mandrel includes a plurality of main and auxiliary bodies, the surface is overlaid with high temperature resistant, wear resistant, thermal fatigue resistant alloy, polished, and chrome plated, obtaining the characteristics of wear resistance, thermal fatigue resistance and high temperature resistance. The whole process not only increase the strength, toughness and hardness of the mandrel, improves its service quality, but also prolong the service life. With simple structure and reliable quality, composite mandrel can meet the requirements of different running condition. Whether for new-made mandrels, or for equal diameter renewal of failed mandrels, composite mandrel process can show its advantages of suitable material quantity, energy saving, consumption reduction, and production cost reduction.

Floor coverings and floor covering systems and methods of making and installing same

Floor coverings having a greige good, an adhesive layer, and a secondary backing material. The greige good has a primary backing component having adjoined first and second portions, and a plurality of fibers. The secondary backing material has an attached portion and a first exposable portion, with the attached portion adhered to the first portion of the primary backing component by contact with the adhesive layer. The second portion of the primary backing component is unattached to the first exposable portion of the secondary backing material, and the first exposable portion defines a portion of the first end edge of the floor covering. The second portion of the primary backing component is selectively moveable relative to the first portion to a position in which at least a portion of the second portion of the primary backing component does not overlie the first exposable portion of the secondary backing material.

Thermal shield system

A thermal shield system with wireless control capabilities including a multi-layer shield, a housing containing a power source and processor, and a programmable control mechanism, wherein the control mechanism is in communication with the processor to facilitate direct or remote manual programming of time and temperature of the shield system. The multi-layer shield includes a perimeter having a first layer comprised of reflective material, a second layer comprised of a plurality of conductive pads arranged in a plurality of rows within a structural support sheet, a third layer comprised of thermal material, an electrical wire running through and connecting said conductive pads of the second layer, and a surround spanning the perimeter of the shield. The surround of the shield has flexibility to allow folding or rolling for compact storage of said shield and having rigidity to provide structural integrity of said shield. The electrical wire connects each of the plurality of conductive pads in a series to generate consistent and uniform heat while minimizing depletion of the power source.

Composite noise-attenuating panel system

Enclosures are used to attenuate noise produced by a high decibel producing device, such as a gas turbine engine or other rotating machinery. However, enclosures that achieve high Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings are generally expensive and immobile, whereas inexpensive and mobile enclosures are generally incapable of achieving high STC ratings. Accordingly, a composite noise-attenuating panel system is disclosed that can achieve the high STC ratings associated with immobile, site-erected enclosures, using subpanels that are separated by an air gap and an internal filler (e.g., mineral wool), while maintaining the weight, form factor, and ease of use associated with lightweight, modular mobile enclosures.
