ACTIVE KNIT COMPRESSION GARMENTS, DEVICES AND RELATED METHODS
Garments having active and passive knitted rows can provide desired levels of compression. Garments made of active and passive knitted rows can provide dynamic levels of compression with respect to both location and over time to address a variety of conditions.
ROTARY SEAT AND ROTARY TABLE
A rotary seat including a base includes an outer surface, and a composite material layer attached to at least a part of the outer surface. The base also includes a recess for accommodating a turntable and including a first opening on the outer surface. The material of the composite material layer includes fibers and a resin. Therefore, the rotary seat may be more lightweight. A rotary table is also provided and includes the rotary seat, a driving device which drives the rotary seat to rotate, and a turntable which is rotatably disposed in the recess of the base.

Method and system for providing dynamic personalized recommendations for a destination
Methods and systems for providing a user with content relevant to a location of interest to the user, when the user is determined to be at or near the location, are presented. The user's interest in the location may be determined based on queries about the location received from the user prior to the user arriving at the location. The queries received from the user about the location are used to build a location recommendation model, which generates personalized content relevant to the location and to one or more interest verticals identified for the user. The location recommendation model is built using a location recommendation engine that collects data about the user, the queried location, one or more associations between the user, the queried location, and/or one or more other users, as well as various other information related to the user's interests and the queried location.

STIFFENED COMPOSITE PANEL WITH INTEGRATED SHIM
Provided are stiffened stringer panels with integrated shim structures. An example composite panel comprises a skin member having an inner surface, and a stringer positioned on the inner surface. The stringer comprises a first flange portion and a second flange portion with the first flange portion and the second flange portion contacting the inner surface. The composite panel further comprises an integrated shim positioned on the first flange portion. The integrated shim may comprise a sacrificial material configured to be trimmed to the desired geometry. The sacrificial material may comprise a glass fiber reinforced plastic fabric pre-impregnated with resin. The integrated shim may be configured to interface with internal support structures of a wing assembly. The integrated shim may be configured to he machined to fit dimensions and measurements corresponding to the internal support structures of the wing assembly.

COMPOSITE RODS FOR STABILIZATION OF COMPOSITE LAMINATES
Structurally enhanced preformed layers of multiple rigid unidirectional rods are constructed and arranged for use in fabricating load-bearing support structures and reinforcements in a variety of composite components, e.g. wind turbine blades. Individual preform layers include multiple elongate unidirectional strength elements or rods arranged in a single layer along a longitudinal axis of the preform layer. Individual rods include aligned unidirectional structural fibers embedded within a matrix resin such that the rods have a substantially uniform distribution of fibers and high degree of fiber collimation. The relative straightness of the fibers and fiber collimation provide rods and the preform layers with high rigidity and significant compression strength. A plurality of rods are loosely attached, e.g. knitted, together with a coupling that allows for each rod to be axially displaced, e.g. slideable, relative to another rod.
SHARK RESISTANT COMPOSITE FABRIC
The present invention discloses a shark resistant composite fabric that has an outer layer of a woven or knitted shark bite resistant fabric material; an intermediate layer neoprene. An inner layer of a woven or knitted shark bite resistant fabric material may also be provided.
