Composite material and method of making the same
A composite material includes laminated composite material sheets having conductivity, partitioning members provided between end parts of sets of the composite material sheets to mutually separate the sets of the composite material sheets, and metal sheets respectively provided in the separated end parts of the composite material sheets so as to be respectively pinched between the composite material sheets.
METHOD OF FORMING A LINEAR PANEL FROM MULTI-LAYER PANEL MATERIAL ASSEMBLIES
In one aspect of the present subject matter, a method of forming a linear panel includes drawing a multi-layer panel material assembly having differing inner and outer material layers along a processing path. The method also includes heating the panel material assembly. In addition, the method includes forming the heated panel material assembly into a desired shape as the assembly is drawn along the processing path. Additionally, in another aspect of the present subject matter, a linear panel includes a body formed from a multi-layer panel material assembly having differing inner and outer material layers.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, ADHESIVE SHEET, AND JOINED BODY
The present invention relates to an adhesive composition containing a polymer, an ionic liquid, and an orientation material, and an adhesive sheet including an adhesive layer formed from the adhesive composition. The adhesive composition can form an adhesive layer that has excellent adhesive strength when no voltage is applied and whose adhesive force is sufficiently decreased by applying a voltage.
POLY-SUPPORTED COPPER FOIL
A supported copper foil is disclosed, comprising: a poly-based film that contains polyimide and polytetrafluoroethylene; a thin copper foil; and an adhesive provided between the poly-based film and the thin copper foil, the adhesive removably coupling the poly-based film to the copper foil.
FIBER-REINFORCED COMPOSITE LAYUP
Fiber-reinforced composites is provided. The composites include a plurality of prepreg layers, each comprising a polymeric resin and a plurality of fibers disposed therein; and at least one electrically-conductive layer at least partially embedded in the plurality of prepreg layers. These fiber-reinforced composites can save weight relative to externally provided wires and can be provided in forms suitable for use in automated fiber placement and automated tape layup machines. Advantageous applications include uses in lightning strike protection, energy storage, signal transmission, and power distribution.
PLANAR ANTENNA, LAYERED ANTENNA STRUCTURE, AND WINDOW GLASS FOR VEHICLE
A planar antenna includes a dielectric layer including a first surface and a second surface on a side opposite from the first surface, an antenna conductor provided on the first surface, a ground conductor provided on the first surface or the second surface, or provided on both of the first surface and the second surface, and a transmission line including a signal line that is connected to the antenna conductor or provided in proximity to the antenna conductor, wherein a dielectric portion of the dielectric layer that is in contact with the signal line has a loss tangent of 0.007 or less at 28 GHz.
Ceramic member
Provided is a ceramic member in which the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between an insulating ceramic material and an electrically conductive ceramic material is extremely small and therefore any mismatch caused in association with this difference in thermal expansion coefficient does not occur, and which does not undergo any failure such as breakage, cracking, detachment or destruction. The ceramic member (1) includes an electrically conductive ceramic material (2) which contains yttrium oxide as the main component and additionally contains a fibrous electrically conductive substance such as carbon nanotubes in an amount of 0.1 to 3 vol % inclusive and an insulation ceramic material (3) which contains yttrium oxide as the main component, wherein the electrically conductive ceramic material (2) and the insulation ceramic material (3) are adhered to each other in an integrated manner through an adhesive layer (4) which includes an inorganic adhesive material.
COIL AND COIL PRODUCTION METHOD
A coil sheet includes a conductor layer, a thermally resistant organic insulating layer, a thermosetting adhesive layer in a B-stage state, and a base layer, such that the conductor layer and the insulating layer are bonded to the base layer with the adhesive layer. A coil is formed of a laminate sheet including a conductor layer, an insulating layer, and an adhesive layer of the coil sheet which are released from the base layer thereof, wherein the laminate sheet is wound around a specific axis a plurality of times, and the adhesive layer is thermally cured.
