Multi-layer structure and method of making same
A multi-layer and method of making the same are provided. The multi-layer, such as a sensor, can include a high strength glass overlay and a lamination layer on a substrate layer. The overlay can be less than 250 micrometers thick and have at least one tempered surface incorporating a surface compression layer of at least 5 micrometers deep and a surface compressive stress of at least 200 MPa. The overlay can exhibit a puncture factor of at least 3000 N/μm.sup.2 at B10 (10.sup.th percentile of the probability distribution of failure) in a multi-layer structure, an apparent thickness of less than 0.014 mm, and a pencil hardness greater than 6H. The method can include ion-exchange tempering at least one major surface of a glass sheet, light etching the major surface to remove flaws and laminating the glass sheet on the tempered and lightly etched major surface to a substrate layer.

Insulation panel
An insulation panel has an insulation core layer disposed that includes at least a first particulate and a second particulate of a plurality of discrete puffed polysaccharide particulates that defines a plurality of voids within the core layer. The first particulate is at least partially adhered to at least the second particulate at one or more bonded areas without the use of external non-water-soluble adhesives.

LAMINATED FILM AND PACKAGING CONTAINER
A laminated film including: an inner layer which is formed of a linear low density polyethylene resin and is heat-sealable; an outer layer which is laminated on the inner layer; a fragile processed portion which is formed by laser irradiation to the outer layer and has a depth reaching at least an inside of the outer layer and not penetrating the inner layer; and an intermediate layer which is provided between the inner layer and the outer layer, wherein the intermediate layer is an ink layer for reducing a lamination strength between the inner layer and the outer layer, and is formed in a region excluding the fragile processed portion and excluding a periphery of the fragile processed portion in planar view.

Covering Panel and Process of Producing Covering Panels
The present invention provides a covering panel, such as a floor panel, wall panel or ceiling panel, comprising a substrate and optionally a top layer, whereby said substrate comprises a synthetic material and a filler material, whereby said filler material is comprised in an amount from 15 to 75 wt. % based on the total weight of said substrate. In addition, the present invention provides a process of producing such covering panels.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE TORCHABLE THERMAL INSULATING PANEL FOR BUILDINGS ROOFS
Separating membrane of plastic material, made up of a bossed and waterproof sheet which is coupled with a permeable base layer. The bosses are of the cylindrical type with a double diameter and have such a shape and arrangement as to feature improved adhesion on both faces. The gripping of the adhesive is increased in order to obtain greater tear strength, on the upper face, and at the same time increases the area of contact with the base layer for a greater resistance to delamination on the lower face. In particular, inside each chamber there is an internal crown, which divides it like a necking into two superimposed compartments having the same diameter, wherein the first compartment has a depth amounting to at least ⅓ of the total. A production process for obtaining the membrane is also disclosed.
