Layered body and method for producing same
A layered body includes a cover or skin layer, a cushion layer 82, and an adhesive layer. The skin layer is made from a cover or skin material. The cushion layer is made from a cushioning material. The adhesive layer is made from an adhesive and provided between the skin layer and the cushion layer. A portion of the skin layer located between valleys of the cushion layer and corresponding to a bottom portion of a concave portion has positive curvature in the side view. The bottom portion of the concave portion between the valleys in a surface of the cushioning layer on which the adhesive layer is provided has negative curvature or is flat in the side view.
Articles of footwear for inhibiting and treating injuries
Articles of footwear for protecting injured, at-risk, or post-surgical feet and ankles include upper and/or sole structures that offload the feet and ankles when standing and/or walking.
MULTI-LAYER TEXTILE
A multi-layer textile includes fabric tiles bonded to a base textile layer. The fabric tiles might be cut from one or more larger fabric pieces, which are textile remnants or scraps from prior manufacturing processes. The fabric tiles are bonded to the base textile layer in a manner that reduces the susceptibility of the fabric tiles to peel away from the base textile layer.
GLOVE
A glove made of a first material, wherein a portion of the first material is absent in a region of at least one digit of the glove to define an aperture and at least a part of the aperture is disposed towards a tip of the at least one digit of the glove; and a portion of a second material is attached to the first material to cover the aperture; wherein the second material is compatible for use with a touch screen.
MULTILAYER FILM AND MOLDED BODY PROVIDED WITH SAME
A multilayer film and a decorative film, each of which is excellent in chipping resistance, exhibits favorable adhesive properties to a variety of resin materials, such as polypropylene and ABS, and a molded body provided with such a film. The multilayer film includes three layers of an impact absorption layer (a), a base material layer (b), and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer (c) disposed in this order, wherein a thermoplastic polymer composition constituting the impact absorption layer (a) is composed of at least one block copolymer containing a polymer block (X) containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and a polymer block (Y) containing a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene compound, or a hydrogenated product thereof; and has a loss tangent (tan δ) at 11 Hz in a range of −50 to −20° C. of 3×10.sup.−2 or more.
STRUCTURALLY-COLORED ARTICLES AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING STRUCTURALLY-COLORED ARTICLES
As described above, one or more aspects of the present disclosure provide articles having achromatic structural color, and methods of making articles having achromatic structural color. The present disclosure provides for articles that exhibit achromatic structural colors upon exposure to white light (e.g., sunlight, artificial light, or a combination) through the use of an optical element, where achromatic structural colors are visible colors produced, at least in part, through optical effects (e.g., through scattering, refraction, reflection, interference, and/or diffraction of visible wavelengths of light). The optical element (e.g., a single-layer reflector or single-layer filter or a multilayer reflector or a multilayer filter; inorganic and/or organic material) can include a reflective layer(s) and/or a constituent layer(s).
Upper for a Shoe
An upper for a shoe adapted to cover a foot of a shoe wearer includes a base fabric layer. The base fabric layer of the upper has a first upper material formed of natural leather and constituting a first upper area, and a second upper material formed of a material other than natural leather and constituting a second upper area. A surface material formed of resin film is fixedly attached on the base fabric layer. The surface material covers both the first and second upper materials so that an outer surface of the base fabric layer can be coated by one surface layer formed of the surface material.
FLOW PATH STRUCTURE, LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS, LIQUID EJECTING HEAD, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FLOW PATH STRUCTURE
A flow path structure including a first-flow path includes a first-flow path member that including a first-resin member made of a resin and a first-film member having a film, a second-flow path member laminated on the first-flow path member and adhered to the first-flow path member, in which the first-resin member includes a first-front surface that is a surface facing the second-flow path member and that is provided with a first-recessed portion, the first-film member includes a first-surface and a second-surface that is opposite from the first-surface, at least a portion of the first-surface is in close contact with a front surface of the first-resin member inside the first-recessed portion, and the second-surface and the second-flow path member define at least a portion of the first-flow path in a region overlapping the first-recessed portion in a laminating direction of the first-flow path member and the second-flow path member.
NATURAL FIBER COMPOSITE SANDWICH PANEL
Provided is a composite sandwich panel. The composite sandwich panel includes a core, a first thermoplastic layer applied to a first side of the core, and a second thermoplastic layer applied to a second side of the core. The core is provided in the form of a wave board formed from natural fiber. Also provided is a process for manufacturing a composite sandwich panel. The process comprises extruding a first and second thermoplastic layer into respective flat sheets, forming a consolidated natural fibrous mat, and molding the consolidated natural fibrous mat into a consolidated core having a predetermined geometry. The first and second thermoplastic layers, as well as the consolidated core are heated to a predetermined molding temperature. The heated consolidated core is placed between the heated first and second thermoplastic layers, and the assembly is molded in a molding press into a desired shape determined by product design intent.
Glove with gripping projections
A glove for a person's hand includes an elastomeric base layer that has an inside surface, an outside surface, and includes a palm portion adapted to cover a palm and a back of the person's hand. A thumb portion extends outwardly from the palm portion, and four finger portions extend away from the palm portion adjacent the thumb portion. The outside surface of the glove includes a plurality of raised projections cover 20-85% of the palm portion, thumb portion and finger portions. A base of each projection is a polyhedron with two parallel linear sides and two parallel curved sides. Each projection has an apex proximate a first curved side of the curved sides of the polyhedron. The polyhedrons of the projections are arranged to form a plurality of wavy lines.
