VENOUS BLOOD FLOW STIMULATOR FOR EXTRACORPOREAL THERAPY
A blood flow stimulator may help encourage blood flow in a limb of a patient. The blood flow stimulator may include a housing configured for sealing about the limb of the patient. The housing may include a sealable volume, and the sealable volume may receive the limb of the patient. The blood flow stimulator may include a seal, and the seal may be coupled with the housing. The seal may engage with at least a portion of the limb, for instance to segregate the sealable volume from a surrounding environment of the blood flow stimulator. The blood flow stimulator may include a conduit extending through the housing. The conduit mat help provide access to the sealable volume, for instance from the surrounding environment. In some examples, an adjustable stent is utilized to enhance blood flow within vasculature of a patient. A stent operator may change a size of the stent.
MEDICAL CONNECTOR
Some embodiments disclosed herein relate to medical connectors with a housing comprising a proximal body member and a base member that form an internal cavity with a proximal abutment surface. An elastomeric seal without a guide member is positioned within the internal cavity. A rigid, hollow elongated portion is located within the internal cavity such that in an open configuration, a tip of the elongated portion is more proximal than a proximal surface of the elastomeric seal. A distal portion of the elastomeric seal is seated radially within a region surrounded by a plurality of longitudinally extending protrusions.
FLOW THERAPY
A method of estimating a parameter indicative of respiratory flow of a patient being administered flow therapy, comprising: optionally administering a gas at a flow rate to the patient using a flow therapy apparatus with a patient interface, determin—-ing a terminal pressure in, at or proximate the outlet of the patient interface or in, at or proximate the nares of the patient, determin -ing nasal RTF, determining a nasal flow parameter being or indicative of nasal flow based on the pressure and a nasal RTF, and optionally outputting the nasal flow parameter or parameter derived therefrom.
EFFICIENT ENRICHED OXYGEN AIRFLOW SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The present invention provides new devices, systems, and methods for delivering enriched oxygen to recipients (e.g., chronically ill patients, such as COPD patients). One aspect is a more efficient portable oxygen concentrator that is configured to deliver an enriched oxygen airflow having a significantly lower overall oxygen concentration and greater overall volume administered as compared to currently marketed or known portable oxygen concentrators. Administering the lower oxygen concentration at higher volumes allows for the present portable oxygen concentrators to deliver an equivalent number of moles of oxygen as administered by traditional portable concentrators while increasing the efficiency of the system and the ability of the system to maintain the therapeutic level of oxygen concentration for a longer period.

THERMALLY CONTROLLED FACE ENGAGING DEVICE
A face engaging device such as a nozzle, facemask, etc., may include a housing including a fluid channel extending through the housing to an opening configured to be placed in fluid communication with the mouth of a user. The housing may include a first surface configured to be placed in contact with the skin of the user and a second surface exposed to the fluid channel. The face engaging device may also include a thermal actuator supported by the housing and including a first heat transfer surface position on the first surface, where the first heat transfer surface is configured to apply a thermal profile to the skin of the user when the opening is placed in fluid communication with the mouth of the user.

Personal Thermal Stability Control
Personal thermal stability control herein provides for personalized temperature regulation dependent upon biometric sensor feedback, sleep stage, and so on, particularly for sleeping users, predicting and preemptively responding to fluctuations indicative of thermal stability, resulting from such things as transitions between sleep stages, hot flashes, night sweats, and general thermal instability. Specifically, in one embodiment, a system herein may comprise: an on-demand cooling system; one or more biometric sensors configured to monitor one or more corresponding indicators of thermal stability of a user; and a controller configured to: a) receive the one or more corresponding indicators of thermal stability of the user; b) predict an onset of a thermal instability of the user based on the one or more corresponding indicators of thermal stability of the user; and c) activate the on-demand cooling system to counteract the predicted onset of a thermal instability of the user.

Systems and methods for ventilation of patients
A mechanical ventilator is provided that includes a dashboard display identifying a patient's current ventilatory status within a global or universal ventilatory mechanics map. This dashboard display is dynamically updated with the patient's condition, and shows trends in the patient's ventilation over time. The map identifies suggested safe and unsafe regions of ventilation for the patient, and the ventilator can display informational texts, trigger auditory and/or visual alarms, and transmit alarm communications in response to determining that the patient is approaching or has entered an unsafe region.
