FULLY-ADHERED ROOFING SYSTEMS UTILIZING A PRIMER HAVING A SILICON-TERMINATED POLYMER

A method of installing a roof system includes providing a first membrane composite; adhesively securing the first membrane composite to a roof surface through a UV-cured pressure-sensitive adhesive layer; providing a second membrane composite; adhesively securing the second membrane composite to the roof surface through a UV-cured pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, where the second membrane composite is positioned adjacent to and partially overlapping a lap area of the first membrane composite; and adhesively securing the second membrane composite to a first planar surface of the first membrane composite along a primer layer through the UV-cured pressure-sensitive adhesive layer disposed on the second membrane composite.

Highly-filled polyurethane composites with fiber reinforcement

Composite panels and methods of preparation are described herein. In some embodiments, the composite panel can include a first fiber reinforcement, a polyurethane composite having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the first surface is in contact with the first fiber reinforcement; and a cementitious material adjacent the first fiber reinforce-opposite the polyurethane composite. The polyurethane composite can be formed from (i) one or more isocyanates selected from the group consisting of diisocyanates, polyisocyanates, and mixtures thereof, (ii) one or more polyols, and (iii) a particulate filler. The fiber reinforcement can be formed from a woven or non-woven material, such as glass fibers. The composite panel can further include a material, such as a second fiber reinforcement and a cementitious layer, in contact with the second surface of the polyurethane composite. Articles comprising the composite panels are also disclosed.

PANELS COMPRISING HARDENED INORGANIC FOAM AND STRUCTURAL REINFORCING ELEMENT, METHODS FOR THEIR MANUFACTURE AND USE THEREOF

Construction panels including an insulation layer formed by a hardened inorganic foam and at least one structural reinforcing element which is firmly attached to at least one surface of the hardened inorganic foam wherein the at least one structural reinforcing element is a hardened mortar, preferably a hardened cementitious mortar. The panels are useful as thermal and/or acoustic insulation panels or as cover boards in construction.
