Gypsum Board Containing a Polyol Compound
The present invention is directed to a gypsum board and a method of making such gypsum board. For instance, the gypsum board comprises a gypsum core, a first facing material, and a second facing material wherein the first facing material and the second facing material sandwich the gypsum core. The gypsum core comprises a first gypsum core section and a second gypsum core section each comprising gypsum, wherein the first gypsum core section comprises a polyol compound and has a density higher than a density of the second gypsum core section.

Methods for adhering a substrate onto a surface of a ceramic component are provided. The method may include applying a first bond coating onto an attachment surface of the substrate, applying a first alumina coating onto the first bond coating on the attachment surface of the substrate, applying a second bond coating onto an outer surface of the ceramic component, applying a second alumina coating onto the second bond coating on the attachment surface of the substrate, applying a cement onto at least one of the first alumina coating and the second alumina coating, and adhering the attachment surface of the substrate onto the outer surface of the ceramic component. Connections between a metal substrate and a ceramic matrix composite component are also provided.

Methods for adhering a substrate onto a surface of a ceramic component are provided. The method may include applying a first bond coating onto an attachment surface of the substrate, applying a first alumina coating onto the first bond coating on the attachment surface of the substrate, applying a second bond coating onto an outer surface of the ceramic component, applying a second alumina coating onto the second bond coating on the attachment surface of the substrate, applying a cement onto at least one of the first alumina coating and the second alumina coating, and adhering the attachment surface of the substrate onto the outer surface of the ceramic component. Connections between a metal substrate and a ceramic matrix composite component are also provided.

The present invention provides a decorative sheet having excellent work characteristics, weather resistance, and scratch resistance and a decorative material using the same. Disclosed are a decorative sheet including a base material and a surface-protecting layer, wherein at least one of the base material and the surface-protecting layer contains a white pigment, the surface-protecting layer is a cured product of a curable resin composition, and a Martens hardness of the decorative sheet is 9 N/mm.sup.2 or more and 25 N/mm.sup.2 or less; and a decorative material using the same.

A seamless tubular liner for repairing an underground or surface pipe is disclosed, including circumferential wefts consisting of slivers comprising a plurality of staple fibers bundled together, the slivers adapted to elongate through disentanglement of the bundled staple fibers when the seamless tubular liner is subjected to an inflation pressure such that the diameter of the tubular liner is able to expand to accommodate variations of diameter of the pipe being repaired.

A method of preparing a thermoplastic roofing membrane, the method comprising (i) extruding a composition including a thermoplastic polymer and a mineral filler to form an extrudate; (ii) forming the extrudate into a sheet having first and second planar surfaces; (iii) allowing the sheet to at least partially cool; and (iv) mechanically treating the first planar surface of the sheet to thereby expose the mineral filler.
Decorative material
A decorative material that has higher scratch resistance while preventing defects generated during lamination of a gloss-adjusting layer. In a decorative material according to an embodiment of the present invention, a resin component that constitutes a first gloss-adjusting layer is a mixture of a urethane-based thermosetting resin having a polyol and an isocyanate, and an ionizing radiation-curable resin having an acrylic group or a methacrylic group; and the urethane-based thermosetting resin is contained in an amount within a range of 3 parts by mass or more and 100 parts by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of the ionizing radiation-curable resin.
