Water-based epoxy formulations for applied fireproofing
The present disclosure relates to coating compositions, kits, and methods of applying the same, for use with fireproofing materials. The coating compositions are effective to control the drying rate and shrinkage of fireproofing materials. The coating compositions are also able to be applied to fireproofing materials shortly after these materials have been applied to a substrate.

Composite board
A composite board is formed from binding a cover layer to a base layer, wherein the base layer has a composition comprising one or more of the following ingredients: magnesium oxide, recycled magnesium oxide, fibrous chips, wood chips, bamboo chips, chemical additive and water. A method of manufacturing the composite board includes providing the base layer, which includes preparing a semi-arid mixture of the above ingredients, and pouring the mixture through a funnel onto a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt passes the mixture through a series of rollers to remove excess liquid. The layer is cut into panels, which are heat before being sprayed with dried magnesium oxide. A binding agent is applied to one side of the base layer. The cover layer has a bottom surface which is then aligned and bonded to one side of the base layer.
Composite board

Moisture-curable hot melt adhesive
The object of the present invention is to provide a moisture-curable hot melt adhesive having high initial adhesive strength, long open time, excellent coating property and reduced stringing property. The present invention relates to a moisture-curable hot melt adhesive comprising (A) a urethane prepolymer having a terminal isocyanate group, (B) a metallocene-based polyolefin having a viscosity of 10,000 mPa.Math.s or less at a temperature of 170° C. and (C) a polyester-polyether copolymer.

The object of the present invention is to provide a moisture-curable hot melt adhesive having high initial adhesive strength, long open time, excellent coating property and reduced stringing property. The present invention relates to a moisture-curable hot melt adhesive comprising (A) a urethane prepolymer having a terminal isocyanate group, (B) a metallocene-based polyolefin having a viscosity of 10,000 mPa.Math.s or less at a temperature of 170° C. and (C) a polyester-polyether copolymer.
Moisture-resistant gypsum boards and slurries for making same
A gypsum board comprises a cover sheet and a gypsum layer disposed on the cover sheet. The gypsum layer comprises the reaction product of an isocyanate, water, and stucco. The isocyanate increases the moisture resistance of the gypsum board. A method of manufacturing the gypsum board comprises the steps of combining the isocyanate, the water, and the stucco to form a slurry, and applying the slurry to a cover sheet to form the gypsum layer on the cover sheet.

A gypsum board comprises a cover sheet and a gypsum layer disposed on the cover sheet. The gypsum layer comprises the reaction product of an isocyanate, water, and stucco. The isocyanate increases the moisture resistance of the gypsum board. A method of manufacturing the gypsum board comprises the steps of combining the isocyanate, the water, and the stucco to form a slurry, and applying the slurry to a cover sheet to form the gypsum layer on the cover sheet.

Gypsum panels, sheathing systems, and methods of making and using the same are provided. A gypsum panel includes a gypsum core associated with a first fiberglass mat having a continuous barrier coating, the coating penetrating a portion of the first fiberglass mat opposite the gypsum core, wherein gypsum penetrates a remaining fibrous portion of the first fiberglass mat such that voids in the first fiberglass mat are substantially eliminated. A building sheathing system includes at least two gypsum panels and a seaming component to provide a seam at an interface between the gypsum panels.
