SKIS WITH REINFORCEMENT LAYER CUTOUT
A ski may define a body that defines a tip, a tail opposite the tip, a top sheet, a base extending from the tip to the tail and opposite the top sheet, a core layer positioned between the base and the top sheet, and a reinforcement layer positioned between the top sheet and the base. The reinforcement layer defines an aperture extending through the reinforcement layer and positioned within a first third of a length of the ski, the length defined from the tip to the tail.
Raised woodgrain finish decorative material
Provided is an inexpensive raised woodgrain finish decorative material that exhibits design properties similar to those of actual wood by the effect of reproducing visual appearance and feeling and has a short production timeline. The raised woodgrain finish decorative material has a substrate, a first raised section provided on one surface of the substrate, and a second raised section provided on the one surface of the substrate in a different location than the location of the first raised section, wherein the length of the first raised section is longer than the length of the second raised section in the lengthwise direction of the substrate, and the height of the first raised section is higher than the height of the second raised section in the thickness direction of the substrate.
Coated multi-ply wood panel and method of producing a core board
A method of producing a core board suitable for a coated multi-ply wood panel, as well as a coated multi-ply wood panel. The method comprises the steps of providing a wood based material in the form of a plurality of layers and an adhesive suitable for bonding the layers to each other; the layers of the wood based material and the adhesive being arranged in alternating order to form a stack, the stack having two opposite faces formed by a wood based layer. On at least one of the faces of the stack there is further provided adhesive and fibrillated fibers to form a modified stack which is pressed by one-step pressing to form a multi-ply wood panel having a facing coated with a layer of fibrillated fibers. The even and smooth surface of the core panel makes it particular suitable for coating with, e.g., glossy films.
Laminated wood polymer composite article and method of making a laminated wood polymer composite article
A laminated composite article having a core component and laminate sheet. The laminate sheet is disposed and overlying at least a portion of the core component. The laminate sheet includes a wear layer and an ink layer. The laminate sheet includes UV absorbers. The UV absorbers are arranged and disposed to provide ink stability to the ink layer. Methods for forming the laminated composite article are also disclosed.
Panel for a magnetic shielding cabin, magnetic shielding cabin and method for the production of a panel and a magnetic shielding cabin
A panel for a shielding cabin having a base plate made of a non-magnetic material and at least one sheet layer made of a soft magnetic material is provided. The base plate is stuck to at least one sheet layer by a viscoelastic adhesive. The adhesive has a glass transition temperature of −80° C. to −60° C.
SPACER STRUCTURE, SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION WITH A SPACER STRUCTURE OF THIS KIND AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SPACER STRUCTURE OF THIS KIND
A spacer structure for a sandwich construction, formed from a material web which is provided with a plurality of cuts and which has a material web plane as a first plane, wherein, by forming the material web, at least one support platform is formed in portions which is spaced at a distance from the first plane and is arranged in a second plane. Spacing elements run along a direction of extent (Ε) from the first plane into the second plane in the transition zone from the first plane into the second plane and thus the spacing elements space the first plane apart from the support platform, the spacing elements having a twist about the direction of extent thereof along the direction of extent thereof (Ε), the twist being formed by the shaping of the material web being performed as bending.
Polymeric material including a uretdione-containing material and an epoxy component, two-part compositions, and methods
The present disclosure provides a polymeric material including a polymerized reaction product of a polymerizable composition including components and has a solids content of 90% or greater. The components include a uretdione-containing material including a reaction product of a diisocyanate reacted with itself; a first hydroxyl-containing compound; an optional second hydroxyl-containing compound having a single OH group, wherein; and an epoxy component. The first hydroxyl-containing compound has more than one OH group and the optional second hydroxyl-containing compound is a primary alcohol or a secondary alcohol. The present disclosure also provides a two-part composition, in which the polymeric material is included in the first part and the second part includes at least one amine. Further, a method of adhering two substrates is provided, including obtaining a two-part composition; combining at least a portion of the first part with at least a portion of the second part to form a mixture; disposing at least a portion of the mixture on a first substrate; and contacting a second substrate with the mixture disposed on the first substrate. The disclosure also provides a polymeric material and a method of making a two-part composition. Advantageously, two-part compositions according to the present disclosure can be used as coatings and adhesive systems with handling and performance similar to existing two-part urethane systems, but with less sensitivity to water.
LAMINATE WITH INTEGRAL FORCE SENSOR AND RELATED METHODS
Various embodiments for a laminate glass article having an integrated switch therein and related methods are provided. The laminated glass article a force sensor configured within one or more layers of the laminate with sufficient spacer incorporation to provide a force sensing switch. Related methods are also provided.
