Low-dielectric adhesive composition

The present invention aims to provide an adhesive composition which exhibits high adhesive property not only to the conventional polyimide and polyester film but also to a metal substrate, can achieve high solder heat resistance and exhibits excellent low-dielectric characteristics. According to the present invention, there is provided an adhesive composition containing an acid-modified polyolefin (a), an oligo-phenylene ether (b) having a number-average molecular weight of 3000 or less, and an epoxy resin (c), wherein the adhesive composition satisfies the following requirement(s) (A) and/or (B): (A) The adhesive composition contains more than 20 parts by mass and 60 parts by mass or less of the epoxy resin (c) to 100 parts by mass of the acid-modified polyolefin (a); (B) The adhesive composition further contains a polycarbodiimide (d).

Storm drain information RFID tag

An RFID tag for marking storm drains incorporates the tag circuitry into a dome decal providing a flexible substrate capped by a self-leveling clear polymer. The RFID tag is placed between the polymer and the substrate on an electromagnetic radiation decoupling layer allowing a low profile fitting within the decal while allowing the decal to be used on metal drain surfaces. The decal includes a printed environment-promoting message relating to connection of the storm.

Process to manufacture multilayer laminated packaging material

The invention refers to a process to manufacture multilayer laminated packaging material. More particularly, the invention relates to processes to manufacture multilayer laminated packaging material used to produce carton packages, in especially aseptic carton packages containing liquid or pasty products. A plurality of layers is continuously laminated onto a non-printable face of a paperboard layer to form a semi-finished web of multilayer laminated packaging material. Next, the inner face of a translucent thermoplastic protective material having a commercial artwork printed onto its printable inner face is laminated onto the not printed printable face of said semi-finished web of multilayer laminated packaging material, wherein the artwork with numbers, letters and drawings is printed in a reverse position regarding to what was supposed to be when seeing the artwork from the opposite not printed outer face of said translucent thermoplastic protective material.

A glass laminate includes a non-glass substrate with a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. A glass sheet is laminated to the first surface of the non-glass substrate. A barrier film is laminated to the second surface of the non-glass substrate and includes a first surface adjacent to the non-glass substrate, a second surface opposite the first surface. A thickness of the barrier film can be at most about 0.5 mm. The second surface of the barrier film can define an outer surface of the glass laminate. The barrier film can be a multi-layer barrier film with a metal layer and a polymer layer. An absolute value of a flatness of the glass laminate determined according to European Standard EN 438 after exposure to 23° C. and 90% relative humidity for 7 days can be at most about 3 mm/m.
